hey ive decided to make a nemesis for my ice/ice blaster oozygirl, so here she is, first corruptor so aint really sure what im going for.

So you should, it really is the Mutts. I shall pop up my build for your comparison. Bear in mind i duo with a ss/inv brute, so i've taken all the buffs, works a charm.

Hmm, just wondering: does the slow resist from arctic fog counter the horrendous slow from earth thorncasters quicksand or any other slows for that matter?

Firsty, the slow res from fog will protect you from one slow effect, like most slow res powers. This means one sand or one set of caltrops. The problem of course is that annoying mobs that use slows tend to spam them in large amounts...don't get my started on those KoA cows.

Secondly, a note on my build. I specced out of snow storm for several reasons;
1) I couldn't fit it in with everything else i wanted
2) It was one too many toggles and really tipped my end into the unmanageable area.
3) the slows from sleet, heatloss, ice storm etc are more than sufficient to slow a mob to a crawl. Not good if you exemp of course, but i dont tend to
4) My brute friend took the AoE web grenade from black scorpian, so it isn't needed as a snare

Also, annoyingly, hasten is VERY useful with these sets to get your best powers coming back a lot faster. It kinda ruins my icy cold look but i had to make a consession to get a decent attack chain going with my slotting of 2 acc 3 dam 1 end in my attacks. Also SS stacks with fog for invisability, which i find very handy for keping out of trouble while my heavily-buffed brute herds for me

This build is lethal in pvp btw if your at all interested. Mine is a mostly PvE but PvP-capable hybrid kinda build, so i'd hate to see what i could do with a pure PvP build.

Indeed Snow Storm eats too much endurance, even 2-sloted with end. reduction I cann't keep it in fight (that lasts more then 10 seconds...) and in PvP u have the same effects from web nade (except auto hit of course).
Hasten and Heat Loss is your personal 'God mode' for 2 minutes...EBs drop like flies without Shivans (on villanius difficulty thou) . Used Shivan only once against the Lord Recluse... . I currently have hybrid PvE / PvP build (that tends more to PvP) and and gonna respec to 'selfish' PvP build after some LRSFs.

Snow storm is great in PvP. Its autohit, it completely nullifies fly and superspeed, causes decent -recharge and automatically interrupts aid self and other interruptible powers on the target. It is also useful in PvE. I definitely recommend trying to fit it in here somewhere.

im hoping that this build will get me to 50 and that i will also get invites for the lrsf *prays* so that i can get a few hami-o's under my belt , then i will more than likely respec into a complete pvp build, from the sounds of it they are apparently good at the pvp thing.

I played my em/ea brute most of the way to 50 with an ice/cold corr, and we loved it, Having a huge Def, extra hitpoints, slow enemies and endurance by the bucketload made us virtually unstoppable in pve, he gimped the mobs, and I tooke the aggro. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the LRSF.
