Spines Impale nerf
It wont affect my scrapper much except maybe against fliers.

Loving it. 40' might still be too long, but it's a good step towards the right direction.
Next step is to nerf regen again. We haven't had a proper regen nerf in ages.

Heh good idea. I have a few of those and a freespec in one of my controllers who has little need of them now

has anyone tried range in it on test as i'd be intrested to know if range would get it back to the 80 mark.

According to posters on the US forums 3 range gets it to 62 feet so it's basically halfway between what it is now and what it will be soon.

Masterminds won't kill a spines regen easily. Besides, he can always jump away if hp goes down too quickly

During the test server event it took my robo/poison about 10-15 secs to solo regens in recluses victory. Stoneys took about twice that. Regens will be surprised to realize that they arent regenerating and their heals heal about 50 hp ^^.. add about 70% -res to that..then they notice they cant run.. Goddamit I wish I had time to lvl my MM... ^^ (Im still dreaming about having that lvl 40+ MM)

Yep MMs shouldn't lose to regens, but if any regen has a chance against them, that is spineys or 'might' be, dark
Yeah a /poison MM should have no problems with most /regen scrappers..Obviously there are going to be some who still eat all that come before them though.
Not sure how much better spines would be though as poison does have some nice anti toxic damage stuff with a good recycle rate and fairly low end cost.
Like a lot of pvp their best advantage would be to hit fast and hard before the MM realises what is going on
spines is always gonna rock pvp! quills will stop those stalks get close impale and a ripper..... easy!
oh and my MA regen can take down MMs not that hard... focus chi jump in eagle claw the MM and whoop! theyre all gone

Stalker and Scrapper versions of Impale have had their range reduced to 40 feet. This change is being made to bring the power more in line with Blast power sets' short range, high damage attacks.
