Hami tank team on Defiant moves in and attracts Hami's aggro before the mito clearing team go near the jelly - that way there won't be a mass mito team wipe. You'll need a good coverage of PA in the jelly to be able to insert the tank team so make sure the PA droppers are well speed boosted and into a dropping rhythm before calling for the tank team to go in.

One of the US servers did a test where a team of tankers all full out attacked Hami while another tank taunted. None of the other tankers were able to pull aggro from Hami through gauntlet alone. Having the tankers away from the rest of the holders also means they won't get any advantage from all the AMs available which will really reduce their contribution on the night. Depending on the turn out on the night it might be worthwhile moving the holding tankers into the main hold group (making sure they know not to taunt of course). Having a second tanker on standby by the primary taunt tank might be a good idea, in case the main tanker disconnects.

This sounds like you're going to call an all out attack phase during the holding phase. Lag will get quite horrific if people start charging in attacking and the holding will start to suffer due to delays in holds going off and people losing target (see note below about losing target). It'll be quite possible for the raid to fail as a result of this increased lag. If you have enough holders you'll be able to hold Hami to Death with the holding powers alone so you won't need the attacks. If you feel you aren't doing enough damage quick enough you could call in the blasters to use ranged attacks to help - melee fighters should be the last people called in and only in dire circumstances. This isn't anything against melee characters: it just makes sense from a raid success point of view.
One other thing the holders can do to really help the raid succeed is put their single target hold on auto-fire and target through a Singularity at the front of the holding group as the Sing will never lose target so holds will always hit and if the lag gets bad having the hold on autofire will mean it'll still go off.

Just a few notes:
1) Don't use dark servant for holds - He also spams Twilight Grasp, the AoE heal. This just causes too much lag to be useful, and the duration on his hold isn't actually that great.
2) YOU DON'T NEED AN ATTACK PHASE - Attack phases just cause more lag than neccessary, and controllers can do the damage fine with just their holds. We kill Hamidon in about 15 minutes with just damage from holds, since rad debuffs give us more than enough damage to kill him and cause less lag. Just call for them instead of an attack phase, it actually turns out way faster.
3) You don't need to use Tankers or Scrappers for the hold phase. They have the lowest hold duration of all, so having them in the group just spreads out the people who are firing AM. Because of this, the controllers (who have the longest duration of holds) get fewer AMs which means fewer holds actually stack on Hamidon in total. Have them hit Hamidon once between the mito clearing and hold phase, and then wait on Cowards Hill while the squishies do the work. They'll get a Hamio, hamidon dies fast, everyone is happy.

Xanthus' advice on the tankers not being in the holding group at all is the best advice btw If you have plenty of controllers then the tankers shouldn't be in there contributing to the lag. I know you aren't sure how many people are going to be at the raid so both eventualities could occur, numbers depending.

Vanguard is a big yes, Crey Pistol is a big no. The former doubles the duration of mez effects, and usually gets called on when Hami approaches 50% health; the latter is an immob, and since Hami already IS immobilised, it's useless.

Will you be setting up a global channel on the night? Last raid didnt have one I dont think but the one before that had one set up and was easier to hear what the leaders were saying.
Just silence all the people who are not the leaders and ask everyone to add it to your global list for that one night. Makes it easier than shouting in braodcast and request channels all night over all the spam.

The reason only Holds (and no other effects) are important, is that if Hami breaks the Hold while being at less than 50% of health, he will retaliate by summoning The Yellow Death.
TYD means one Mitochondria for each person on the zone, which a) kills everyone, b) usually crashes the server. Slows will make the power recharge a bit slower, but since it only needs to use it once, it doesn't matter (as it already has it ready).

I'm sorry to say that Second Sun won't be able to make it... after a slow week/weekend he's only at 42.5, so can't make Hive entry.
I've only got tuesday and thursday nights available before the raid takes place to try t oplay, and I just don't think I can get 2.5 levels in that
I'll still be there, with Ebon Hawk (scrapper, lvl50).
If a miraculous leveling session comes along then I'll let you know, but otherwise best to assume your one troller down .. sorry.

only need one tank in the taunt team i'm afraid, anyone can come along but we need some emps healing stone so he can keep aggro.
There are a couple of reasons for a second tank but none essential - if there are problems of randon D/Cs the last thing we want is to find that the hami tank has disconnected but I've only seen that happen once and somehow I got out of the bubble on that occasion. The other one is if he gets GM aggro which will quickly overwhelm the empaths, again I've only seen this once.
In either case I would suggest a backup taunt team a bit further round the bubble would be better than a second tank in the same taunt team but is normally unnecessary.
The main use tbh will be to sit on cowards hill cracking jokes to keep the holding team entertained.

Firstly anyone coming please make sure you have a Hami raid cossie, these help to reduce the lagg greatly. I believe the layout was tightchest and legs, smooth/bare full on gloves and boots and a tech helm, all one colour.

Some of these may be wrong, i need to find the guide for em. This is the best costume for creating as little lag as possible. If you really cant afford to change a cossie please wear one with as little detail as possible, No auras or capes, these cause massive lag during raids

People with holds I know of-Dimension Diva, The MD, Second Sun, Corwal, Empress of fire, tera storm, Coldest War, Lost Kheldian, Lina Subverse, Byte, FireBlazer, Luna, Aiswen, Chill Arrow, the PA drop team, certain members of taunt team.
Well theres the assigned positions Ive made so far for teams, the PA team are phantom army droppers and kins. Taunt team is the Hami tank, gilga or MD with emps to keep em healed, one to many so those that want can help with the healing blanket.
The mito team is for the clearing phase, all those not needed for another team just follow streakz and attack his target when the mito clear phase begins.
The hold teams should be compromised of anyone with a hold, or speedboost/accelerate metabolism.
Also do not use any defence/dmg res toggles in the Hive, Hami and co do untyped unavoidable damage so toggles apart from mez protection are useless and just cause lag.
To review the raid, firstly well meet at the Hive entrance in Eden, there everyone gets into teams, those in the PA and taunt teams get together then, everyone else can make their own for now. We enter and go to cowards hill, near hamidon, if youre unsure where follow everyone else
Most important rule is not to aggro or attack hamidon, second is not to draw GMs into Hami, Do not under any circumstance attack/taunt or use any power on hamidon.
At this point the PA team move into position, and once we have the go ahead follow streakz and clear them mitos
Once all the mitos have been cleared everyone is to go up to hamidon and brawl him once, make sure it hits no other powers to be used, this is to ensure everyone will get a hami O while also preventing the aggro being taken off our hami tank. Then the Hold phase begins. For this phase only the following powers are to be used (special thanks to Archy, Xanthus and friends for the info taken from their guide, here and throughtout post.)
No dark servant cos its twilight grasp will cause to much lag
-Tankers: not worth it becuase of guantlet
-Blasters: Tesla Cage, Freeze Ray, Bitter Freeze Ray, Shocking Grasp, Freezing Touch, Shocking Bolt, Char, Cryo Freeze Ray.
-Defenders: Petryfing Gaze, Choking Cloud, EM Pulse, Ice Arrow, Tesla Cage, Telekinesis.
-Scrappers: not worth the lagg.
-Warshades: Gravity Well.
-Peacebringers: Incandescent Strike.
-Controllers: Fossilize, Volcanic Gasses, Char, Cinders, Gravity Distortion, Gravity Distortion Field, Singularity(3 slots for Hold Duration, no matter the others), Block of Ice, Glacier, Blind, Flash, Dominate, Telekinesis(whatever slotting you have), Total Domination, Choking Cloud, EM Pulse, Ice Arrow.
In addition to this, the only buffs which should be used really are AM and Speed Boost for the +rechg so that holds can be stacked. People need to understand that spamming immobs and heals, leaving auras/shields on, using pets (other than Singularity and maybe Dark Servant), or just using random powers (like Fulcrum) is totally useless and counter-productive since it increases the lag to the point where we can't see if Hami is held.
Raziel is in charge for this, so once this phase begins please listen to him(cant remember if I actually asked him if he wanted to do this, might be good to check)
NO ATTACKING HAMI, only holds during this phase.
Anyone without a hold or recharge boost will have to sit on cowards hill and wait,no scrapper or tankers, even with holds in this phase unless we are desperate due to the lagg. As long as you brawled him you'll still get Hami O though.
Hopefully if all goes well hami will be down in no time
