Recluse's Victory Sunday 14:00 GMT

Citizens of the Rogue Isles,

Communication monitoring by Arachnos Research and Development has ascertained that the foul machinations of the Heroes of Paragon City are afoot once again - this time they are planning to thwart Lord Recluse's plans in the far flung future we call Recluse's Victory.

We need all villains above the Threat Level of 40 to muster to Grandville just before 1400hrs GMT to form a counter offensive. They must not be allowed to stop Lord Recluses' dominance of the future.

Repulse the heroes! Show them what true "villains" can do. For those of you of a more mercanary bent, there are other benefits of fighting in this zone - if we fight well, and earn our Temporal Points to Lord Recluse's satisfaction you will be given access to an Arachnos Mini-Blaster. These are smaller versions of the formidable war machines fielded in RV.

Zone: Recluse's Victory
Restrictions: 40+
Time: 1400 GMT
Date: Sunday 26th November 2006

So, fight for what you believe in - the ascendancy of Arachnos or your own profit - but whatever you do, destroy those heroes!

In the name of science!
Master Zaprobo

It will be my pleasure to answear the call of Lord Recluse. We shall crush any foolish so-called hero who dare stand in our way of ultimate victory over Statesman in his Freedom Phalanx... I just hope Longbow agents havn't sabotaged my internetconnection, as they did this week when I was doing LRSF

We continued the fight, and I am happy to report that we managed to take over the zone once more. Thanks for starting the event.

Signed,

Yep, the fight was long and I am sure we will meet many more times on the battlefield! Alas, other duties for Arachnos pulled me away prematurely but I am gratified to hear that villain prowess prevailed!

I shall have a few screenshots uploaded shortly Many thanks for all who attended.

As an aside, would anyone be up for making this perhaps a monthly event? Last Sunday of the month being Recluses Victory Day?

I have no objection to travel back to the future once again, to fight for the glory of the 5th... uh, for the glory of Lord Recluse.

Perhaps this may be a faint echo compared to the things that transpired during the test of this portal. But far better than the whisper it has become.

There has been a lot of testing in RV, but mainly by destroying turrets efficiently. Not exactly helping along a future victory.

Unless the turrets should tear themselves free from their resting places, and march towards the isles. A scenario that few have lost sleep over. ;-)

What can i say apart from this was indeed the best pvp ive had in ages. Despite being the only controller present for most of it and thus being the obvious target of villainous attacks >_< even more so when folks realised i was an empath i must say it was good time had by all and i wouldn't mind seeing a replay of this soon, thanks to zaprobo for starting this off.

Perhaps next time i will join the villain side

An epic battle with many memorable incidents, and lots of fun . Great PVP and nice atmosphere. It was awesome to see RV played the way it really should be.

It was actually Me that requested help with fellow heroes on heroe's forum...which Master Z posted on....and then requested help from other villains....I will take the credit, as I deserve it, lol.

Good to hear it actually works now if only they could put the confirmed confuse animation on people during pvp...
