Thanks a lot Dip. I'm puzzled by the one attack until lev 10? I've noticed similar things on other builds. I'm unfamiliar with scrapping and expected more focus on attacks?

I'm puzzled by your build
It doesnt have enough attacks at low lvls and with a SR super jump is best travel power because the combat jumping offers more defence

Asou can see still only 2 attacks before 12...could take gamblers and respec it out at 24 for a better attack chain before that but to be honest it will be a complete waste to have 2 tier 1 attacks later on could swap divine and practised brawler about aswell but to be honest you will be flying through the lvls at this stage so you will get them both in an hours play anyway, in my later build i took out flashing steel aswell just to free up some slots..but im trying to find away to get it back in before 30...
Im sure Raz will come up with a better build but i thought i would get the ball rolling and you did get 2 builds for the price of 1

You want divine avalanche asap its a great power which makes you much stronger than any tank at that level Low level it also does reasonable damage so theres not much point getting gamblers cut.
I personally find Aid Self much more useful than the passives and slotted with 2 interupt reduces it can be used even with heavy DoT.
Once you get FA slotted its probably worth taking out the second accuracy and putting in a recharge or end red as required.

I use the "build" for PvE and PvP and never found a need for a Heal - tho DX is level 50 so debt isn't much an issue, but I have managed to Dodge 8/10 point [censored] with DA stacked, vs the Brute I was using as my DA 'anchor' hehehe
Generally.. that's the kinda of idea you need to be looking at. power placement, you can choose where, but it's a general idea on how most go, and what's slotted.
PvP can be anything like "1acc, 1end , 1 rec, 3dmg" or "2acc, 1end, 3dmg" or "2acc, 1rec, dmg" -- up to you.
But, hopefullly it gives you a clearer idea.
I respecced DX on test to try something recently.. (when I get chance to "try" it).. I'm not keeping this build.. but it was as said.. "test".

i dont think there is any need for a travel power with quickness sprint and swift slotted

That depends really.. sure Quickness Swift and Sprint slotted x3 is nice.. but you lack forward gain and it will still take a while to get from A to C.
Stalkers it doesn't usually matter as they get the most benefits from it by but that only usually applies to Spine Stalkers that can bring fliers down.
non Spines AT.. mmm.. touchy.. as you have no way to get "vertical" or somewhere very fast, so easy -- making you less as effective as you could be.
I'll have to get the figures because I'm not on my home computer, but my main ( still working on that magical 50 ) has every primary katana power except gamblers, every secondary except evasion and my travel power is sprint!
I put focus on the attack and defence only, with every defensive power getting 3-5 slots and every attack having 5 with the exception of Soaring Dragon and Golden Dragonfly which have 6.
I picked up the Stamina / Health etc set, as well as stealth for a defence bonus as well.
My epic powers are accuracy and endurance discount, with my hold requirements being filled with a vanguard / crey pistol accolade combo. It works well, on the basis that during the time that SR is keeping me from being hit too much, I can hit back accuratly with stupidly high damage!

I just cant see the point of calling the wolf by the time you have taunted you could have killed em.
The no travel power works (one of my SG members has got it) and to be honest with the GvE jump pack i might rethink my build a little.

You want Evasion!!!
It's the last thing really you need -- minus Elude -- to become a DEF master, and since::
Evasion-Toggle:: is DEF 21.375%-base vs AoE.
Lucky-Passive:: is only 5.624% base DEF vs AoE
You OHHHHH so want Evasion! and love it!
You don't take it and you're asking for trouble, as the passive isn't enough alone to help you. You can do without the passive as long as you take the Toggle.

mmm.. you cud do I guess... I can't see what harm it would do.. you'd only lose the DMG RES-Scrapfiance inherent, as well as about 15-20% DEF the passives add up..
But, you should be ok, I guess.
15-20% passives? its 5% in my builder ... and dmg res from passives is minimal so... yeah they are nice (i got all toggles and passives on my sr but AoE defense myself), but i would never pick them before aid self tbh
This respec is burning a hole in my cloak...never had one this long before, i think i will wait till i get my freebee before i change it. Will have to start playing him again really want to get to 38!!

Again.. he would lose 15-20%

I just never clarified WHAT the DEF was for, nor did I say Vs ALL. It was the individual DEF-base combined which is.. 15% DEF. Unless my Maths suddenly decided to go weird.. 5+5+5 = 15 ?
In game mechanics, combined it's 5% DEF to All "DIRECTIONAL ATTACKS" (best to clarify this) ... but I like to keep it simple rather than maybe confusing some new players that will read this later on, that haven't ever used SR before.
That and as anyone with SR wud know.. the DEF powers are vs what they're assigned to.. and I didn't believe I had to explain what each passive did as no only do they tell you ingame.. but I like to assume that by level 38 you WOULD know anyway, and I believe dipstar would know already
I give dipstar more credit than some, I think.
Saying that passives give 15-20% defense is, at least, a confusing way to explain it. If passives give 15-20%, defense cap is not 45%, but 135%.
Yes, those that have played an /SR know each toggle/passive affect to a certain type of attacks, but hey, saying that without passives you'll miss 15-20% defense, one might think that it's 15-20% each.
