Congratz on the 50 
I know what you mean about apathy was thinking of stopping playing for a while and what happens "halloween" hehe and the Union is busy again.
I think everyone knows there will always be a migration to other MMORPG and *sobs* have lost a few myself but as long as they keep the game fresh and keep the issues coming most of us will be here to the end. This is my first online game and im amazed the ammount of time ive spent on it (i played RPGs on consoles and used to think 70hrs on a game was excessive) has it been time well spent...to be honest not really, ive met some great ppl but i would have proberly met great ppl in RL in the 800+ hours ive spent playing??
Gratz on the 50 kitty, Beautiful post, made me teary, I know how you feel, its always the community that drags me back to this game I can't leave and probably won't for a long time. CoX forever..

I wish I could say that I've played for 300 levels worth. Well not really saying it in RL, but you catch my drift!
On the subject of WoW, I have to say I've played in till level 28 as a gnome warrior, but yet I feel like now I'm stuck back to good old CoX. Those old friends you lost, they'll probably come back...They always do. Mua ha ha!

Right just a few things i would like to say. Firstly, dont i look good in pink But thats enough about me,
It does seem to me that we have done alot more than 300 lvls together hun, most have been enjoyable, some not so, but mostly it has been alot of fun, and i must admit you are a big part of why i havnt quit this damn good game more times than i can count, plus my addiction problem really helps.
I would also like to thanks those Kitty has mentioned above, plus some of the old timers i first started to team with (thanks for the reminder bru), firstly the one and only Ms. Kitty (in all her guises), then there was the legendary Kid hellfire who i met in the early 30's (lvl wise that is, gosh i aint that old), ah then of course the silent Dark Rendition (who was so quiet as i suspect he had the w pressed down so hard on is SA tank ), ah then of course Scotlands Bru (Kid's personal rezzer ), and lastly Tarten Dragon (who was always down on the floor 2 seconds after kid).Plus few ppl i cant remember atm, tyvm to u all for making the first toon i lvled all the to 50 so much fun to play.
Right thats all the sentimental stuff out the way, i just like to say gratz kitty on yet another 50, well done hun, i am sure we will lvl a few more together once we decide what alts to play:P.
PS.
To anyone out there u want to play a Bs/Da scrapper, make sure u get a friend to roll a kin, it really really really helps with the slight end problem that those 2 set inherently have

Wow eloquently put Kitty. Well done to you & DC. Dont worry too much about WoW - i went there for a month for my sins but I am glad to be home in the City cause there are no better people to team with than the heroes on Union.

Myself and my longtime ingame friend DC dinged lvl 50 again tonight on a set of toons that was have lvled together for every one of 50 lvls. In fact we even came up with the toons in the first place expressely for teaming together. It was a really special night not only coz it was my cakeday but also the one year anniversary of my first lvl 50.
This got me to thinking (usually a bad start) that the two of us have played well over 300 lvls together in this game, counting alts that we lvled then abandoned or deleted.
This in turn got me to thinking about why i still play this game after so long. Sure it's still fun to hit things and look shiny but that loses it's thrill and dinging lvl 50 thesedays isn't quite the giddy experience it used to be for me. I've come quite close to the point of cancelling my account several times in the last few months and have been fighting game boredom for a while. I've seen more friends leave than i care to count, and seen entire SGs crumble under the weight of the great migration to WoW that seems to be sweeping so many familiar names from our servers.
Thankfully though, enough special people like DC, eros, Okton, Spirit Lotus, Brimmy, Mistress Heal, Terra Byte, Roaster, CQ and many more i can't remember right now coz it's creeping up on 3am (you know who you are you special people you) remain that it still makes every time i log in worth it.
Christ 300 lvls is.....how much time...? I have very close, very best friends in RL who i couldn't spend that amount of time with and not throttle lol... but that's the beauty of CoX; the wonderful, warm, friendly community that greats us each time we venture forth into our little fantasy land. I've yet to find another online game that can come close to matching it, and until that dies, i'm with CoX.
Don't know why i felt compelled to post this really, but maybe to others feeling the strain and the apathy atm... chin up chaps, we might be down, but we're a long way from out yet.
