That's what I do.
The other possibility is to put end mods in there somewhere to get more endurance back when you aren't surrounded. It is about 15 base endurance per enemy I think.

Aye, I'm 3recharge, 3def at the moment on mine too. I may shift to 3 recharge, 2 def, 1 endmod for PvPing with/if I'm fighting smaller mobs.
Really depends on how much end you need tbh... but 3xrech 3xdef sounds good.
For PvP you arent going to get a whole stack of defence from energy absorbtion. To my mind, you want to go all out for the end reduction and go 3xend, 3xrecharge.
As far as I know, en absorbtion def debuffs stack - am I correct?
Oh and by the Way Cap - nice to see you taking a set with some solid AoE effects in!

My 3rec, 2def, 1end mod would be hybrid slotting for PvP whilst still levelling btw - I'd probably switch to the 3end mod slotting once I hit 50.
Energy Absorption buffs do stack, otherwise I'd slot End mod instead of some of the recharge.

I currently run 3 Recharge/3 End Mod which allows me to slot my attacks aggresively (acc/dmg/recarge rather than end reductions) as I get bored doing the taunt bot thing.

I currently slot my attacks 1xACC,2xDAM,2xEND,1xRCG. But then I'm Ice/SS with perma rage so the 3rd DAM only adds about 10% extra damage rather than 16%. It may be worth slotting EA for end mod in order to slot the attacks for 3 damage, 1 end and 1 recharge.

I'm a taunt bot with my Ice tank and really enjoying it, I'm wondering if i could drop Fitness pool, free up space for Tough and Weave and survive off the end gained from EA.
The problem is when faced with AVs or tough bosses, there you spend 90% of the fight with no minions to drain.

With 1 end red in each armour and with 2x2x2 recred/defbuff/endmod and with hasten I'd still get end from the AV though? And I'd turn off icicles and CE and any other armour that might not be needed and just taunt.
I don't know, I'm only a lowly lvl 26 at the moment so AVs aren't on the list. So maybe just use my idea for the next 18 levels and change with the 44 respec to include stamina?

Personally, with my ice tank, I keep the minions around in the case of tough bosses, simply to bolster my defence 
AV's are a different matter though. As you say, these are long drawn out fights. So if you don't have stamina you may aswell resign yourself to being a pure aggro soak machine, and not attacking. To be honest, in a 6man+ team thats not unreasonable - if there are enough blasters / scrappers in team to do the damage.

Same here, it's not like minions actualy pose a threat, and with 2 of them around you can get added defense and get a full end bar back while fighting the boss
what is optimal slotting for EA in your opinion's, i was thinking of 3 defense buffs and 3 recharge reductions, so i can get as much defense as possile, any help would be appreciated =)
