Do you guys run with say Conductive Shield up with Charged Armour or do you switch between em. What's the End usage like at low levels?

On mine (currently 15 ish), I run charged armour and static shield at all times, both with just an endred DO in (for now), and I'm generally ok to get through most of a mission without having to rest (attacks slotted for acc and endred only).

I'll probably turn on conductive shield once I've got stamina/SOs to be honest, as the amount of fire damage you encounter up to then is pretty minimal.

Before Stamina, I ran only Charged Armor and Static Shield, and turned Conductive Shield on only when I knew I would have to deal with those types of damage.

The only thing I did different from Morgan is that I had no endredx and my end lasted most of the battles except EBs. Then again, I have SS as primary, so it would be good if you told us what's yours

Ops, my mistake.

Since EM is more end frindly, I believe you have less probelms thah the ones I described in my last post.

With brutes in general, I only run shields when I have to, S/L resist when fighting foes with S/L damage and taking too much damage, mez protection against mezzing foes, etc.

This all pre-22 of course.

Max's advice is sound.

Of course pre 22 your attack chain will still try and bleed you dry even with toggle management. However this is the same for all brutes before SO's. Carry lots of blues and you'll be ok.

Aye, this is what I'm finding atm - my end and HP are low at the end of every fight with 3 or so white mobs, and the downtime is a bug bear.

Pre 22 being a brute isn't easy. I can run no shields and still be out of end if the fight goes on too long (new brute, not old) AFAIK its the same for all. At 50 on my DA I can run 7 toggles (or is it 8) and cycle my attacks much longer than my level 12 FA can with the single toggle it has. Things do get better.

On my lvl 9 brute I am not having any problems with end. I always have charged armour up and condutive shield when necessary. I do tend to cycle brawl and jab as my main atttacks and use haymaker only when my fury is high. Biggest problem at the moment is the reate my health drops in big groups, so much so that I am considering get aid self at 14.

Ah, see I try to use the cones and AoEs to keep agro from the corruptor am duoing with, they use end. And Mist was AoE all the way

My philosiphy is at lvl 10 there is no point trying to hold aggro as Im too squishy. Just hit as many as possible and get high fury the start one shoting mobs

Actually, EM is as end-friendly as you can get, except DM.

ET has a low-end cost (because of the HP drain), and all the other attacks have standard dmg/end ratio. Energy is less resisted than smashing, so it'll often need less hits. In the end, EM is slighty better than other primaries.

I'll never get why people think EM is end-hungry. It might be that they never slot any end-red in attacks, use whirling hands on 2 guys, or TF a mob with 1/3 health left.
