There was quite a splendid Necro / Dark MM in Bloody bay yesterday evening. We had a wizard time duking it out and he was awfully difficult to beat. He took down three of us valiant heroes on his own before we could best him. So i think he could be rated quite the PvP player. I wouldn't imagine he could defeat a Granite tank though. My oh my those chaps are tough.

Nice to hear PvP does happen in BB though. As for MM's, yes, they are a pain with that damn bodyguard!
Last time I went into Sirens with my Necro I got creamed altogether. A Grav Controller with a well slotted Wormhole and a Spines scrapper made mincemeat of me as soon as I poked my head over the parapet of the base. Over and over again
Do any of the Leadership powers offer resistance to TP at all?

also i would like to know if soul drain would make a big difference if i was to fight the master mind again when i was a higher lvl and cocknys rule brummies are the 1s that cant speak 
MMs are pretty godly in bodyguard these days especially pre 30, there are much more ways around them in WB and RV for example. (and dark cant grab a heal from you in elude 
)

I saw a good double MM kill in RV the other day that made me chuckle. Two MM's who were tearing apart several scrappers and blappers as they camped on top of City Hall.
The attackers tried pet killing, coordinated attacks on a single MM etc but the bodyguard mode was just too much. Then a fire blaster gets buffed up by an emp and pops some reds before running in and nova'ing. Seeing the MM's try to run for their lives after their bodyguard was taken out in one go and a swarm of heroes suddenly saw their chance to get them was quite funny

I wouldn't be sure about Granites, they're not that unkillable. -recovery or psi damage soon sees them gone. Also note that in BB most ATs haven't aren't PVP worthy. Most scrappers don't have their mez protection, for example.
But to take down 3 at once is pretty impressive (especially at that level).
And yes, Necro/Dark is one of the best MMs for survivability. Robots/Dark is better for damage, and that's powerful too.
I've stared down a necro/dark with my almighty powerful negative energy resists in sirens. Fat lot of good it did me too, I was lying flat within 2 minutes. They are a hard AT to beat.
haha to every1 who was in bloodey bay last night i said i would post about this and so here i go
corpse mage a lvl 15 necro dark mm yesterday succeeded in kicking new protector,dark light a lvl 15 tank,and sum lvl 50 katana rgns [censored] all at the same time......... he time and time again continued to pwn all the heroes that tryed to kill him and we only managed to beat him once and we were ganking now umbrax im not saying hes invincible or godly im just saying if he can do this surely mms with necro dark or w/e he had deserve a place on the list of great pvp arcatype builds tho corpse i doubt u'd be able to pwn a granite..............sorry there jus walls and walls dont die
