EPPs and knockdown

Ok having a great time lvling my SS/Elec brute atm, but choices for patron powers are proving difficult. Obviously i will be taking footstomp and using it liberally and i like the great damage mitigation it offers by knockdown.

I had originally planned to take Scirroco and pick up elec fences, but does it work like over AoE immobs, preventing knockdown for 10 seconds? If so this might be counterproductive to footstomp. Also, whats the damage like on ball lightning?

Does Black scorpions aoe immob/slow thing stop knockdown too?

If you want to test it give me a yell, I'll Elec fence a group and you can test the KD.

I have no status effects in my powers other than the imob of elec fences so I cant test this alone

Very kind offer, unfortunately i don't have footstomp yet as i'm only lvl 26 atm

I do have a friend with a 39 SS brute though that we could test it with?

Also anyone tried a fully slotted ball lightning? Going by the numbers it looks very weak...but i suppose with fury...?

Heh,i have a similar problem with my Stone/Dark - the knockdown of Fault and Tremor is essential and messing that up with a knockdown preventing immob would be fatal.

Single target electric fence prevents knocks,as does single target web 'nade.
Sharks are just not for me,so it'll be Ghost Widow - i hope her immob is a clone of the Dark Blast tentacles,it allows knocks.

Not numbers for it no, but it didn't seem very good until slotted, its DoT and kinda blurrs with my other DoT (IE every single one of my attacks)

Actually was thinking that any kind of knockdown/back would be ok for the test as i dont have footstomp. If it prevents kb then air supe also shouldn't work with it. I have a friend with a nrg/stone tank who i think has elec fences, i'll see if i can test it and let you know.

Also, if someone could try ball lightning with some decent fury built, without any other AoE damage powers going that would be good. At the moment it's looking like i might just be better off footstomping and ST attacking and leaving ball lightning

Just searched the US boards - Electric Fences prevents knocks,Soul Tentacles and Web Envelope don't.
No information for School of Sharks found.

Aye just tested it myself and elec cages prevents all kd/back, which rules it out for me. web envelope looks good though.

It does indeed stop KB, which is a right pain in the bum.

Not sure I'm going to respec it out completly, but may well move it to be my level 49 power in a future respec.

Are you sure the web grenade stops not back as the AoE one for the MM doesnt which is annoying, I took it hoping it stopped knockback meaning I could lock enemies onto the flame patches from the robots AoE but it doesnt work like that
