Not for us, that's getting a bit late for some of our members in different Time Zones.
We'd prefer before 8pm, if possible.

I can't do wednesday either, I don't think. My shift just changed, so I'm working 5pm-10pm that evening.
Edit: HH, you should've done this like I did 3vP. Set a date first and then take signups. That way, people who enter know when they'll be expected to be online.

Why should we use our subs when you change the date three days before the event is supposed to happen.

logically that wud be better for every1 i wud have thought, as long as at least a week notice is given
firstly it was 6 days from when i said, quite a few people said they couldnt do a weekend, world cup and all, then theres summer holidays when people go away...

Any way, all I'm saying is that a weekend slot may be better for the majority, because barring those working either at schools, or going to schools, people have to work the next day.
a weekened is easier people i will be forced to change it again... people would saturday be better, im not saying it is saturday yet but would it be?
Dont change anything until the number of cancelers becomes too high. It is extremely rare to make a time work for everybody and being too sensitive is hazardous.
if 1 or 2 cancel, it is bearable.

Make it sunday as you said originally, many many poeple with regular jobs and part time jobs work saturdays, not so many work sundays afaik, wednesday, well people can't all make it til late, and the ones that can dont want to be up late. Sunday was going well til it got moved afaik :/.
Best advice as Xan said, pick a day and a time, tell people when it is, ask for confirmation, if they cant make it, get new teams in.

Have to echo Xanth's & Plight's comments. Pick a date, set a time. Those who are captain's of the teams will arrange the team as best they can - that's where their subs come in.
You will never find a date/time that suits everyone, it's just one of those things. If it becomes a regular timeslot people can try and plan their life around it (try explaining that to the wife ).
As the majority of teams are SG based it's a good test of their members.
