I'm not a great fan of snipes, I find the long animation makes them situational. I would go for either Irradiate and Neutron Bomb or one of those and Choking Cloud.
Choking cloud is a great lock down power, it holds about half the enemies around you most of the time and I've seen it used to great effect. However it is an end hog so it needs to be heavily slotted.
Neutron bomb and Irradiate are reasonable AoEs, for PvE, so long as you aren't worried about aggro AoEs are far more effective than single target attacks.
@Unthing ... Mostly on Union.
Isn't Irradiate the best debuff in the secondary? For that alone I'd pick it.

choking cloud and proton volley - these are what you will need the most - sheer damage and foe hold. they work well in every context and once you enter RV these will be ideal for pvp. altho bomb and irridiate are good powers they only really shine when affecting multiple foes.

Taking into account i'll get Tem Inv at 44 maybe these two would be teh best option....
Seriously... Proton and Chocking could be great choices...However someone said that the combo irradiate-Choking is great due to the huge debuff irradiate has...
mmmh... Maybe i will frop mutation also and get the three of them.
On the other hand, do you think that having EM Pulse fully slotted it is worth to take chocking cloud?
Yes, I'd definitely look further into dropping mutation - it's situational, and you're what I'd consider a debuffer, not a picker-upper-and-duster-offer - more debuffs can only be a good thing.

If you're a PvEer then grab Irradiate and Choking cloud. The big defence debuff in Irradiate allows Choking Cloud to hit far more often. Choking Cloud kinda needs 6 slots (3 hold, 3 endredux), while Irradiate could do with a couple of accuracy slots, to ensure that the debuff lands.
I'd say keep EMP, you'll still find times that it'd be really handy. And keep mutation! There's not many sets out there with a res power.

Choking cloud is utter [censored] for PvP. The accuracy is very poor and the time between hold ticks is far too long.

For PvE Irradiate and Choking Cloud, no contest really. The synergy those two powers offer is just mind boggling. Personally I really can't even think of a realistic situation where a rad/rad would want to use a snipe, there's always loads of better options available.

Like alot of ppl oh yeah choking cloud is gr8 in pve mostly cos in pvp they all have mez protection who u can get that close too i like snipes but on a rad/rad i would go irradiate yh two nice powers
I'd go with Irradiate and Neutron Bomb. Irradiate is strong, Neutron Bomb looks COOL ! And with your 3 AoEs (Electron Haze isn't on the list, so I assume you have it ?) and rad debuffs, you'll do pretty good damage.
A rad needs to have at least 2 of the 3 AoE's before he's a real rad, preferably both. So neutron bomb/irradiate., and then the other, or CC As long as you already have haze.

Finally I've dropped leadership pool powers as well as mutate and have got Chocking Cloud, Irradiate and Proton Voley...
I've found that CC do not hit very often (it's a pitty you cannot place acc enh on it), but always holds at least one or two foes and in any case it is perfect for my character (a radiation being who cannot control the radiation she produces) and is always on (at least until i get Tep. Inv.)... I've skipped Neutron Bomb, but maybe i'll take it later...I Still have 3 power left in principle i was going to take as follows:
44 Temp. Invulneravility
47 Conserve Power
49 Neutron Bomb or mutate.

I can... when I'm solo or in a small team and facing a damn great boss.
All delivered at max range...
Proton Volley > Lingering Rad > Proton Volley > minor attacks > Super Speed > run to range > Rinse > Repeat
Plus PV has, IMHO, the best sound effect in the game. Torpedoes away!

Neutron bomb sucks in a very spectacular fashion. Very long animation, heavy end cost, really crappy damage. Don't get it!

Yea...Frankly speaking, before my first respec i took Neutron Bomb and i really did not like it. I was thinking on getting it at 49 as an extravaganza just to se the green beach ball from time to time, but frankly i'll have to waste the 3 lvl 50 slotts on it (otherwise it makes no sese to get it), and it is almost sure taht i'll save these 3 slotts for another powers and took mutation instead.
Concerning proton Volley, i love the animation and sound too... And on the other hand, it is quite useful when soloing and from time to time you can also use it on a team...
Well,I'm playing a Lvl 41 Rad/Rad def, i'll drop leadership pool, from which i've got Maneuvers and tactics...So 2 powers have to be choosen from the following:
Inrradiate
Proton Voley
Neutron Bomb
Fallout
Chocking Cloud
Or from a power pool. At present i've Swift/Hurdle/Stamina, Hover/Fly and Hasten from the regular power pools.
Personaly i'd go for proton volley (in order to snipe) but i have no idea of the other one...Maybe Stealth...Is it any good?
And i'll be 6 slotts free to slott these two new powers.
Your advice will be highly appreciated.
