which travel power
There isn't really a travel power that 'goes' with Regen. It really is down to personal choice. Personally i always go for superspeed on my characters simply because i love hasten. If you are new to the game though i'd probably advise either superjump or fly. Both have great manouverability, help you reach places that superspeed cant and to circumnavigate some of the more difficult zones to travel in ie Terra Volta. Teleport is a fantastic travel power and the fastest, but can be a bit tricky to get used to.
For fun, I think SJ is the best. Slower than SS, but there have been times when I have beaten TPers to a mission, from the same start point (albeit barely so). It's a really great power to use, and helpful around missions. Plus, CJ is like a mini-travel power, and offers useful immob protect.
SS has probably the best prereq in the game, hasten. Also, it's extreme fun to zip around at over 100mph (thats swift, sprint, SS 1 slotted), but it lacks vertical movement. And since you are claws, hasten isn't quite as needed. But moving about is useful to allow your healing to kick in.
Fly: Fun, and safe. However, INCREDIBLY slow. I think 3 slotted it's something less than no slotted SS. With a regen you can easily afford the end cost, and Air Superiority is a nice move, good for taking shockers etc out of the air.
TP: Only had a few levels of experience with this, on my old rad/rad before he got deleted *bangs head on wall*. It's the fastest power when used right, with a major end cost which is helped by regen. Slots aren't needed, but 6 slotting it does help. You pretty much need it binded, and if you do get it just type /bind z powexecname Teleport, and you get point and click tp.
Hope this helps (sj ftw! )
EDIT: Also, which fitness power? If swift, SJ or Fly, if hurdle, SS. Especially since hurdle with SS can REALLY increase travel times, there are quite a few places in Terra Volta that hurdle can *just* reach.

Truly seconded.
Teleport always seems malaigned whenever anyone asks about travel powers. My main experience of it is in conjunction with Hover, which overcomes all it's shortcommings as a travel power.
The best thing about teleport is definately the speed AND safety that you arrive at a mission, not to mention being able to bypass groups of enemies inside a mission itself (or arrive in the middle of them)
SJ you wont regret it.
Eek, double-posted. Heat's affecting my brain, sorry.
DON'T eat muffins while I'm developing you.
Pants! Turkey Magnates! A man in a box! Rogue AI! Come one, come all, to arc ID 10107 - It's 'Not as long as some other arcs'!
SJ's the best straight out of the box, with experience (and an extra slot) SS>SJ. And you get Hasten, too!

The only one I'm not a great fan of is the Flight pool.
Superspeed has hasten as a prerequisite, it gives you stealth ( allowing you to ghost missions ) and feels the fastest by a long way ( because you are on the ground ). In reality it is fast. It needs no slots, but Hasten does benefit loads from 2 additional. If you are taking the fitness pool, you could do well with Hurdle or Swift, Hurdle to get some vertical or swift to feel like more of a speedster.
Superjump is good, it has the advantage of Combat Jumping as a prerequisite, a power I love as it make you able to change directions in mid air. Add Hurdle to make a good in mission travel power ( CJ + Hurdle = fast ) or Swift if you don't want to look like a mad jumpy thing. Superjump speed is reasonable, I wouldn't slot it past the default slot, especially with Hurdle. For non melee types this also provides the Acrobatics power for knockback / status protection, something you don't have to worry about.
Fly is SLOOOW, as others have said, it is also end hungry but then as a regen that shouldn't be much of a problem. Fly is safest used at high altitudes which gives the illusion of being even slower than it is. It does need slotting. The prerequisites are reasponably okay, Hover provides walking speed when 3 slotted and has knockback protection but I wouldn't get it as a scrapper. Air Superiority is a nice attack solely because of the guaranteed knockdown.
Teleport is reasonably good, it is a bit clumsy and expensive in end. Normally squishies take it rather than scrappers. The prequisites are useful too, recall friend is great for low level sidekicks or moving dead allies to somewhere they can use an awaken. Also it is good for getting slow flying teammates to the mission faster.
@Unthing ... Mostly on Union.
But REAL heroes arrive to the battle before it starts, not halfway through the finish
claws being catlike you could say leaping but haste from speed pool will add survivability by allowing dullpain to recharge faster etc. Flight and TP just dont synergise unless you can come up with something special.
He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.
However Hover and TP do. Plus Air Superiority is one of the best pool power attacks.

Mad jumpy thing?! Jumpy things aren't mad!
I like Super Jump myself but all travel powers are cool. I think everyone should try them all at least once. Getting Fly for the first time is one of the favorite CoH memories for many here.

Like I often quote John Travolta in fly-debates: "If you are important, people will wait."
My tank has fly.. 'nuff said!

My first born "Ironclad" has Fly, purely because a cape swishing behind you as you soar over the streets looks bloody gorgeous.
All my other spawn have SJ, because it's quick and looks good when leaping from roof to roof.

Erm i said synergize, how many cats or wolverines do you see flying and teleporting about? they jump high and run fast which is why i said leap pool and speed pool as being more compatible in concept.

You're forgetting "Aggro's law". At some point someone, normally a blaster or scrapper, WILL go insane and start hitting things out of sheer boredom. Ever tried flying to a team wipe in progress? SS or SJ and you save the day.

As I read this you are saying Flight and TP don't synergise, which is why I responded as I did.
As for the rest I know of no cats that can dull pain or speed themselves up.
