Is an MA/SR Scrapper able to solo?

Well, I know that SR is using a lot endurance but I never played it so I don't know much "a lot" is.
I was recently playing around with the costumes on the test server and made up a nice costume which would fit well for a MA/SR Scrapper, so I thought about starting one whith I7.
I'm not a all time solo gamer (actually I team more then I play solo), but sometimes I'm in the mood for soloing.
Is it an okay char to solo (I don't exepct anything like my Regen Scrapper) or more a pain to solo him?
Just for the info, I never play higher then Heroic/Villanious (enough challanges at my work, don't need them at home too) and don't care for PvP (even though I play it from time to time).

Oh last question. Only travel power I would take for him would be SJ or SS. i tend to SS though, because I think that Combat Jumping might not be very well for the endurance. Still I would to know which travel power do you prefer on a MA/SR build?

I think both SJ and SS work fine. Combat Jumping is probably the least endusing toggle in the game, and running it wont be noticed on your end bar.
Hasten is nice tho, which is a reason to go SS. I went SJ tho.
MA/SRs can solo with ease. At higher lvls I could easily solo invincible/relentless missions without ever getting into trouble. The end can be a bit of a nuisance, especially before you get stamina and your SOs, but IMO soloing is no problem at all.

Hell yes they can solo and if you're going with hasten and quickness just take superspeed and you'll be faster than a bonafide electrified rocket horse on wheels. Whapap!

I've soloed for about half my career as Flitz. Flitz has teleport for concept reasons, so any travel power is good.

DEFIANT Rose Bloodthorn 34
VIGILANCE Captain Caledonia 20 - Yeah, I made toons on the French server coz we only had 4 back then (might have to transfer/recreate them on one of the US servers)
..and many more!

Just dinged lvl 38 now and have been soloing on invincible (when i solo) since my late 20s, so heroic will be no issue at all.

Once you get one end red SO in each toggle (and each attack) endurance will not be an issue. I must say though that the only time i have an end issue is when i run the third toggle (evasion - AoE/cone def) on top of my other 2 and CJ. It just tips the balance a little. Good news though is that when solo you really don't need to run it, and in groups there will almost always be some endurace powers going around, or just less to do on your own.

Running CJ perma makes no dent on endurance, it's like 0.07 eps so stick a def in it and forget about it

If you are not going to solo on higher than heroic then tbh you could just run through your missions without bothering with the toggles. An even con will rarely hit you (though when they do it will be 5 times in a row ) and you will be killing them fast enough not to worry.

On your average solo heroic mission you will be facing groups of 3 white/yellow minions and the odd yellow Lt perhaps. Jump in, dragonstail them all on their backs, and then cycle attacks...they should be dead before they get a chance to hit you

Any Scrapper can solo fine.

putting a def in CJ is pointless IMO, cause like the end cost, the defbuff is too small to notice. Put a jump enhancement in for extra maneuverability I say (people underestimate the ability to move around quickly in a fight)

Great, thanks for all the answers.
I guess once I7 hits I'll be having a MA/SR Scrapper.

On the contrary. Because of the non-linear returns, CJ is worth a lot more for a SR than to anyone else. The difference between, say, 27.3% and 31.2% defense (SR without CJ vs SR with CJ) , is a _lot_ bigger than that between 0% and 3.9% defense. The difference between 27.3% and 31.2% defense is freaking huge when you fight bosses or even higher level lts or even minions with to-hit bonuses or (in spite of your partial resistance to that) defense debuff. Because it shaves the last bit of an already small percent to be hit, the difference in average damage taken is a lot higher than it seems.

So for a SR, yes, it's very much worth it to take CJ and it's very much worth it to slot it.
