So in answer to the question "empaths, unappreciated?"
That means "no" simply because someone namely "me" appreciates them.

Em... that didn't meant to sound so seedy. 
I have 4 main toons that i play, all lvl 50:
x-treme, my first toon that i have spent the most time on
X3, my PvE powerhouse and the toon i use the most in 1v1s and i think most ppl on union know him 
x-plosive, my team pvp destroyer who can 2 shot any squishy including stalkers
shaman x, my team pvp empath who runs a lot,
and its shaman x who every knows the most and most people call me shaman now rather than the old "x". therefore empaths are definately appreciated

You have me all wrong, if I ever get the time I can't wait to try as many of the other defender powersets as possible. If I had to choose a favorite AT then Defender it would be by a mile.
