Indeedly, my first time in the Chantry last weekend on this TF, and it was a great one! The Death Star was mighty impressive, reminded me of the first time in Atlas, the Rikti Crash zone, and indeed my first foray into Firebase Zulu itself!
I plan to be there with my flying/SSing tanker, Tech Tower. Had a great time and a great team, and hopefully will be in another good 'un again.

Hmm, I think the TF has taken around 6 hours when I've done it before, give or take an hour or two.
I'll never make the 10 AM . It's queensday in Holland so i'm going to get completely drunk and stupid on saturday and i probably wont come out of my coma till round noon. On the otherhand, i might pull an all-nighter and show up anyway. Only problem then is that i'll probably doze off a couple of times during the TF 
.

Yes, maybe I'm being stupid about this. Originally the TF's ran at 2pm, with an earlier run being introduced at 10am.
So would 2pm suit you lot better / the same?

Ignore that bit of the original post, Amanda is 43.5 now, so 44 by Sunday should be doable. Blastering in the Shard is back!
And since MBar seems to have forgotten to update this, Amanda has now hit the required level range, so it looks like she'll be propelling pointy sticks at various Storm elementals/Rularuu. (the phrase "you could have somebody's eye out with that" is strangely appropriate when facing Rularuu 
)

Nemesis, Praetorians, Rikti, Rularuu ... the Shard has no end to nefarious villians trying to unlock its many mysteries, but this week should see the end to some of them, as we embark on the last Shadow Shard TF, The Saga of Lanaru.
Task force information is here.
The level range is 44 - 50, so only the very high levels need apply.
Time required for the Task Force is quite a bit IIRC. A proper estimation is beyond me, if someone remembers how long it is, please post below.
Required team size is a full 8 man team, which may prove awkward unfortunately ... but we can get teams started with less than 8.
Our meeting point is Faathim the Kind, the contact for the TF, based inside the actual Chantry building in the Chantry at 2pm (note the new time!) on Sunday 30th April. Hopefully you'll know where I mean: Shadow Shard 3 concludes inside the building in question (the Death Star-like floating strucutr in the middle of the Chantry). If you have problems reaching the TF contact, send me a tell in game to @MBar and I'll get you a TP.
