Last night I attempted an AS on you with my stalker, and missed. So you took this as an excuse to start giving me a good hiding despite me continually asking you not to on broadcast!
I think I remember that. I get tped foed and next thing I see a stalker standing in front of me saying "Mercy" in local (the only place I could see villain chat).
Good thing you made me laugh or you might not have got away
It reminds me of the signature of one of my SG friends (taken from an excellent, yet short lived series)

One thing that is slightly puzzling is didnt you see me and others on our team shouting random stuff up on broadcast? Or... did you just think it was another sign of your slightly loopy team mates??

Yep I did. And yes I thought it somewhat strange - but I put broadcast only in the smaller part of my chat window, and usually pay very little attention to it. Towards the end of last nights session I scrolled back up through it and only then realised that all the names I saw were hero names.
By and large if something doesn't make sense to me I just ignore it and carry on. Ignorance is bliss as they say.

I was over Digi's house and he was in a team, and their team chat made no sense, to either of us, broadcast and Arena make less sense than team chat at the best of times. I always have to check the options for hearing villains from time to time just from Tyl's comments alone

I've yet to hear anything meaningful from any opponents - don't be shy of broadcast, Villians! Let's have more bluster and threats, it makes the application of the boot of justice so much sweeter

That was a very very bizarre team chat... totally confused me tbh.. I'm positive that there's some sort of option that automatically makes only half a conversation appear at the most inopportune times.. ah-well.. but still.. that is the one time that my team chat has made less sense than either broadcast or arena... so something must have been up, it wasn't just me confused then!!
I don't understand how you could find Tyl's comments a little bizarre... am I mistaken in thinking that Tyl is the sane-ist person on Defiant ??

Some people use TS but don't have microphones and use team chat if they are teaming with people on TS who do have a microphone. I know I do it some times

Hey All,
This is directed at all those I've encountered in my occasional (yet increasingly frequent) visits to Sirens and Warburg. I'm pretty new to this whole PvP business, and not that long in the Paragon either to be honest, but it had struck me how all the villains seemed to be so quiet in the zones.
Fair enough I thought, maybe I just happen to be there when the more quiet PvPers are about. Then last night as I was leaving Sirens, which had been quite busy, it struck me that surely no crowd of people that size could say absolutely nothing while the heoroes babbled away in a seemingly one-sided conversation.
Sure enough, as I checked down through the options to see if anything was amiss I see the options to hide villain broadcast and private messages enabled. Doh.
So if any of you have said anything to me and been ignored, I'm very sorry. I had no idea this option was even there, let alone enabled by default. And I've corrected it now, so I'll be able to hear your gloating as I'm repeatedly ganked and one-shotted but keep coming back for more
