well, i can actually see the BG work good in PvP. remeber that u dont have to set ALL ur pets to BG's.

in areas of random aggro from multiple sides (rare in PvE, common in PvP) i use a (well 2 really) macro where i only use the my assault bot and protector bots as attackers, but always leaving the drones back on Def-mode. this would mean less dmg-share, but will serve a good purpouse as still keeping u off 1 or 2 hit-kills, and still have massive offense eligible for ur control. let the dmg-dealers attack and the drones take ur dmg in PvP.

now if we could get a click-power, similar to elude, mog, etc, that granted team-Bodyguards......... but i suspect that would be insane lol.. try attacvking a fortress of +Def AoE buffs and a force bubble.. and they all share the dmg.. with a AoE healer... now that could kill hami solo

I could see this being potentally powerful, especially in PvP. Its like bite me u lamer blasters.

As for PvE i have my protector bots in defence/follow most of the time and the rest in attack so that will provide a modest bonus base, and if i come up against a boss who is getting a bit close for comfort just set them all to defence/follow and whulah: "Hey there stop hitting me with that hammer, it tickles" whilst the rest of ur henchies blow 7 kinds of multicoloured chicken out of the boss

Heh. This means the Triage Beacon may come in handy. Respec'ed it out because it hardly gave enough bang for the buck. But with damage distributed this way, maybe it is time to reconsider.

When you take increased damage, this will not save your Gluteus Maximus, but it could make it harder for Blasters to one-shot you. That would be great...

I've just had a thought: why dont the devs just introduce a 'Bodyguard' stance instead of setting them to follow/defencive would make this alot less painful having to set it every time : /
