The moderators have to use it all the time, the rest can simply pop in when they need to have a question answered.

I think this is a good idea. as you will be supprised with the number of people that still are clueless as to what to do to get a match sorted, and this will be a good way to introduce more and more to PVP
gets my vote, and will gladly offer my services if needed.

You got my vote. As much as I enjoy PvP, there's still a lot of things that dumbfound me. How about a CoV PvP website, with guides on how to do FAQs? I can provide hosting space on my site (Digidark.net) if we need it. Just thought it'd be good to go along with the channel?

There is already a PvP channel set up but no one ever uses it. I wa s member of it for a time but never saw more than 10 people on at any one point.
Can't remember the name of it but I'm sure someone will be able to post it here.

Wasn't Global Sirens as that was specific for that zone IIRC. It was called something like 'PvP Channel' or something similar. Definitely had PvP in the title
actully botty made it for all, just that at that time everyone used sirens and nowhere else
It was "PvP". I created the channel and then subsequently left because nobody actually used it.

I thought about it, perhaps I should make a new post and have someone from the proof read it. Then see if I could get bridger to sticky it. This way it could opperate as a channel that people actually have a chance to see exists and people could join the channel when they need help and leave it when they received the help they needed.
So basicly Im looking for test server players, you guys have proven your self in combat and I know you are some of the best players on the eu servers. Reason I prefer test server players is that I have had the chance to see you guys in combat and therefor I have a chance to ensure the level of advice is high.
When I have arround 10 players signed up Ill make the channel and post and invite you guys to the channel as moderators.
Also I hope people who read the boards will tell people in sirens and warburg and so on that this channel exist, perhaps we can save a lot of people from the initial fustration of entering a PvPzone and getting absolutly destroyed. This could end with a higher level of PvP and more fun in the PvPzones

I no longer fight in pvp I retired a while ago but I still attend the fights and events regularly to offer help advice and tactics whenever I'm asked. I'd be glad to offer assistance if you need it but I'm afraid I have no way of proving my pvp credentials to you.
(We already have a channel on union for this mainly filled with our test server fighters and it works quite well and is great for setting up arena fights)
I'll join the channel but I wouldn't make a good moderator, I'm not on often enough. At all.

Im sorry cherry Im so strickt in who get to be moderator, if you take a look at the boards you will see alot of whining and alot of bad advise. If this channel is to work, I think it would be to get really good advise everytime. But I have heard about you, so if some fellow unionites who goes to test server recomends you sure. Fx Im gonna include people from defiant who doesnt go there, but I know from personal experience that they know their stuff.
To tyl, I dont really have anything against you or anything, but this channel is for serious advise, so I cant really include someone who has half of his posts just going lolol. That would prolly scare off alot of newcommers if the moderators just well, oh you need advise lolol. Your welcome to join in and if your advice is solid and serious Ill include you later on.
I would expect questions like, what is the best way to slot my hold if I wanna do PvP. And I would like people that are pretty sure of their answers and have enough personal fight time to give good arguments on why their solution is the best slotting.

i think every1 who PvP's on test on monday nights on union will agree that Cherry's skill is amongst the best and her knowledge is unrivaled by any seriously every1 directs their PvP questions to Cherry as literally she knows everything
and she's not fully retired, still helps out when we're desperate, the pentad night before the last one she helped us out after our troller had to leave and we beat every1
in simple, u want Cherry Fusion on this channel, the S4 union heavyweight champion title above her name backs this up too

Basicly all the stuff.

Team tactics
The way Ill operate it is how should I put it, the "proven" PvPers are moderators, that way if a moderator answers you have a good chance its a good respond. If we are arround 10-15 moderators there will be a great chance that there is allways people online for help.
This could help alot of people with their fustrations in PvP.
Fx if you have problems with a bubbler in PFF, perhaps we could give you some answers on how to take him down. If you have problems taking down a stormie, then perhaps we could give you some advice or even show you how to do it.
Or you need to figure some build choices out for your PvP build then we could give you some advice.
Would people be interested in having a channel like this and would you use it?
