I like a challenge and need Help

I’m enjoying my robot/dark MM very much however at level 12 with just picked up TO’s i'm running on the difficulty just below Relentless, +1’s to mobs and numbers I think. The tactics I have currently are pretty set and working very well one could argue almost to well, essentially I am a tank with ranged attacks and a self heal which as my bots are grouped together when I fight heals for over 200 at a time and is fairly spammable. Even in teams my survivability does not seem to be a huge issue so….

So i’m looking for something that will be more of a challenge both micromanagement and powers wise.

Having a browse through the forums this appears to lend itself to be Ninjas/Trick arrow. While there are some guides on the ninja’s there appears to be very little on TA. Anyone point me in a useful direction of these powers and what to expect so I can work them into the ninja’s. Especially in terms of recharge, end usage and durations etc...

Many thanks in advance….oh yes and keep an eye out for my face planted corpse on Union.

Yeah, people don't seem to think much of trick arrow, and personally I'd say poison looks a bit poo. Try those for a challenge!

A mate of mine has zombies and seems to need to resummon those fairly often, so that might add a bit more challenge too. Zombies is also a pretty good set. High damage and great looking pets, especially with the 32 upgrade.

TA for a MM is all about debuffing. The control aspect is less effective than for the controller version. I find the endurance pretty light. the recharge is okay, it is the animation time which slows the set down (and tends to keep you rooted to the spot). Poison Gas arrow is currently broken, but should be fixed in issue 7.

You will probably want most of the powers, glue arrow to keep the mobs in the aoe of the other powers, Flash arrow and poison gas to kepe your pets alive, acid and disruption (which is great) to help them kill the mobs faster. You pronbably can get away with lightly slotting them though.

The oil slick is quite a good aoe damage power, but you will need your top tier pet to set it off.

I really should do something about this signature.

Feh, you want a real challenge, get to 40 without taking any of the pets .

Only Poison Gas arrow for Controllers and MMs is acutually broken (the defender version works), and that is due to be fixed in issue 7.

Some defenders consider the power to be broken in the sense that the holds are more powerful in the controller version, which is a secondary, than in the defender version which is a primary.

Now there's an idea... I wonder if you could do that, although I imagine that trying to stay in a team would be hell.

Depends imho. Going /FF or /Poison to got a great set of team-buffs. Primairy maybe ninja or robots (each 3 attacks?) and the leadership set.. it should be possible.

Adding some attacks from the pool set, the epics powers (most are attacks+shield), you're a below-avarage defender/blaster.

Or going without pets would be pretty stupid, you would have 2 or 3 moderate attacks and a bunch of debuffs, because MMs have the lowest HP they are very vulnerable so keep your pets, it's hwta bieng a MM is all about.

I suppose so, what he could do is if he has both respec trials left he can respec once to have all attacks and no henchman, and afterwards he can respec again to change em back to see what he thinks.
