Breaks can be good, I find that I'm always drawn back to this game. It sure has saved me a lot of money too. I used to buy games software every month either Xbox or PC but have only bought CoV and another online game since February of last year

Take a short break mate. I don't think we have any worries of you leaving the game forever, anytime soon. I know how much we all love it (despite the faults ).

Heya all, sorry I've not been watching this thread today, have been having an interesting discussion about leeching in the General Chat.
Long and short: YES! It's here and it's cooool. Granted it's not as uber as a lot I'm sure, but it's a gazillion times better than my little lappie. And, strangely... Quieter too!
Managed to get CoH up and running on it this morning. Had massive issues getting windows to install lol, have ended up with Windows XP 64-bit on it, and it's running really nice, so no biggie there. Had probs finding drivers for the 64bit OS tho, everything is still coming in 32s, but seem to be up and running quite well. CoH plays nice on 1024x768 @ 70Hz and MAX EVERYTHING . I know a bigger card could have done more fps, but 30ish is just fine for me (wee bit lower in CoV tho)
So I'll definitely be in there tonight.
Hey dutchy and blappy, have you guys tried using other plastic cards to pay? I thought for sure they took switch/maestro cards too, which are the regular debit ones, well, for us, most debit cards are one of those... Shrug.
Anyhow, not long till works done and I can head home. Still have loads I need to set up on the box, but at least I've got the main stuff.

Indeed! I had fun there too, though there were times when all coherence broke down in the team and we were a group of singles as opposed to a well oiled machine
We were forced back into the hero base for a short while. Well technically not forced, we 'regrouped' after a lot of the team got tired of getting stalkered and left.
My favourite moment was when the stalker Gutts (aka Max Powerz) yells out (broadcast) 'Damn taunt!' (or similar) as I was taunting any villain that went near any of my teammates. It did mean a couple of times a villain lost out on getting a bit of bounty or reputation, and that another could just jump in and steal his kill though, which was a pain. Did seem to save a LOT of lives though, so I'm glad that I was useful
I saw a couple of masterminds, a swarm of stalkers, a few brutes, but no corrupters or dominators. That makes me a sad panda.
I'm not in tonight guys, got a mate's leaving do from work to go to. I'll not be surprised if I too come in later though, yelling weird random phrases through sg/team . So yeah, much of the same I guesses!

On the subject of PvP, I was wondering whether you guys prefer it to PvE. I personally, as you are probably aware, don't really enjoy it. This is mainly because of a guilt/frustration complex where I feel guilty if I beat someone and frustrated with myself if I get beaten. I think a lot of it comes down to luck, but you still end up having some twelve year old jumping up and down on your corpse as if it really meant something. In the expression of Tech - Shrug.
Having said that if as a SG something was planned, then loyalty would overcome dislike and I'd give it a go - just don't expect me to be any good lol.
K, I want to do that Katie Hannon Taskforce big time ( I want the 'Geas of Kind' accolade), so as long as it's not too late a start I'm there whenever.
And a holiday? You lucky so and so.

I don't prefer PvP over PvE but it was kinda a spur of moment thing (or thing of the week )
I kinda like both aspects of the game from time to time.
But I do like PvE over PvP, in the thing that teamwork works better in missions.
If the people doing it are not nutballs or something it can be very fun.
I like a good PvP when the teams are pretty even. If one team is overwhelmed in numbers then it's not fun. If the team isn't gelling well and we're all planting then it can be frustrating. But when a couple of even teams take a run at it, it can be interesting.
BUT I definitely prefer PvE.
So what are you all up to this evening?
I might do a litle TT RPG when the person who plays with me answers positive. Otherwise I hanging with either my lowbee or my stalker/MM. I don't know yet depents a little on you guys

Ahem, I was thinking of taking Satisfaction (with Puman) out for some Dr Vahzing, getting some SOs maybe. Or there was talk about the Croatoa TF? I'd definitely like to do that. I know I've already done it like a bazillian times with Tech, well, 3, but was thinking of taking Skully along.
Another idea I had earlier was to take Dutch and Puma out with Tech, and finish this World Wide Red story arc (Malta, big shiny badge, massive Giant Monster spawn), along with anyone else from the SG in the 45+s if they want.
Hmm, Black Lace is moving up the levels quite quickly... I should pick one of my 20s and get a move on lol. Satisfaction seems primed and ready. But then I don't have the luxury of time off work 
On another note, I'm going to be away from next Thursday for a long weekend. Back on Sunday night. So if anyone has any weekendy plans for the group, post them up.

Well as per usual (because I tend not to have a life outside this game these days ) I shall be probably working on DK trying to get him to 40 before Monday.
I know Red was/is wanting to do the Katie Hannon Croatoa TF which I would like to do also, so maybe that might be something we could all get our teeth into. I could use those +3 origins as not sure my 800k influence will sort out my enhancements to optimum ability.
Regardless I'm sure we shall chat online wherever we are hanging in Paragon.
