This is what often happens when sanity inc or paragon defenders and groups like this enter the PvPzones, they are 4-8 people all working together. When they fight 4 vs. 8 villains normally it isnt 4 vs 8. its 4 vs. 1 just comming faster. And that is why he villains allways loose in the PvPzones. I have yet to see a villain sg working together, the corruptors "forget" to buff and heal, the stalkers and brutes dont protect the corr's, doms and MMs.

well as said before, best is to get some teammates then get a specific role in that team. Earth/storm is pure control, just dont expect it to do damage (especially in sirens). Blasters, lots of damage, toggledrops, but dont expect them to take a beating. Tanks, if played well can take alot of that beating, but (especially in BB/sirens) dont expect em to dish alot of that same beating. List goes on and on and on.
If you want to 1vs1, well you need SOME form of damage output at the least. If you are a controller, be advised that this damage output comes at the cost of pure control. Would you take the pure control route, you cant really do 1vs1 as you would have to practically brawl your enemies to death. For a 1vs1 build I'd suggest a scrapper or blaster.
As said before, for the 1vs1 route it all depends on the enemies AT and skill. Also your build will never be as effective as one where you specialize in one specific role.

Empath in most cases. It depends on what secondary the trollers has and who my team members are.

I aggree with TG and Xan here, my ice/stom is built *mostly* to stop Stalkers, and to a lesser extent the heavy melee attacks of other ATs, but it doesnt mean that no stalker can kill me, i just want to be as annoying as possable to the person im fighting, im not all too bothered if I win or not, at least it gives them a bit of a work out trying to kill me

When you get them to 50 come actually in a pvp zone instead of staying in PvE. Btw PvP zones are Sirens,Warburg,Bloody Bay. Peregrine Island is not a PvP zone. Also remember in CoH pvp there is no XP.

Well for myself I would make PvE/PvP hybrids cos I dont seem to get much PvP gaming done. Especially as my leveling goals are way behind, and I HATE respecs with a passion or Lode would have been sorted.
On that note I will once again try to make myself sort him. but *sigh* I made this promise a few times and Im STILL procastenating.
do u need to respec someone? i would be happy to take my granite/fire herding machien for a respec if u want. he can solo it.

Damn my lack of clarity lately on these forums. I have 2 respecs for Lodestar I cant get anymore. The respec TFs I like. Can do those easily with a fair decent team. Even when it had that respec bug where you only got only 2 coolant belts. Anyone remember that? Oooh what a pain ot was.
No what I meant was use the respecs and do the rebuild and slot thing.

Had to do it once with no coolant belts once, wasnt best pleased, fortunately the team was full of damn good players, finished it with about 15% reactor health left
