A couple of questions

i have made a new Ill/FF 'troller, and am starting to hate pvp zones, so could i ask you a couple of questions and maybe they can be solved?
1: I have attacked about 30 different players (I only realy just started on this pvp thing), and not once has ANY of my attacks hit, not once!, i realise that accuracy is lowered when fighting players but i have tripple DO (not high enough for SO) in all my attacks, i know that wont make it hit 100% but it shouldent be 0%...
2: Why can everyone see through my stealth? i have been walking round Bloody Bay, and seen a villain, made sure theres a big space between him and me, and he can still see and hit him from a mile away.

So does anyone know any solution to this? i made this char specialy for pvp...

What level are you? If you are fighting higher level villains, they may have a lot of defence slotted.
Which villains can see you? Some stalkers get a power which lets them see players with invis from the concealment pool. I dont know if it lets you see through ill's invis but it may be.
BTW. my stormie is lvl 21 and has some powers slotted with SO's thanks to the bounty system in sirens call. Still misses a lot with some powers.
I'd stick with for a while, and maybe post your build on the controller forum asking for some help.

I'm 15 but i'm SK'd to 25 when in bloody bay, i think it is stalkers who see through my stealth now i think about it, i'm illusion /force fields, i took that so i can get personal force field to get past some damage auras and the stealth from the illusion pool, your probably right it probably is that they are higher level and have SO's, i'll wait till i get abit higher and then go back to it, thanks

I wouldn't bother going into PVP without SO's nowadays. With the increased player defense, it's just impossible to do anything without SO's. Standard PVP slotting is 2 accuracy on every attacks. That's at least double the accuracy you get from the 3 DO's you have slotted now.

By the way, you've made a pretty good build choice for PVP. Although my controller is not Illusion, i do use Force Field as my secondary. It matures a bit late though, with the defining power being Force Bubble, which you get at lv 38. You can only enjoy that in Warburg or higher though.

Also, if stalkers annoy you with their Assasin Strike, get repulsion field. It will interrupt their AS and drop their hide as well. That's they way I use it in Siren's Call and that's the only reason I have it really . Very effective for just that purpose though

Yea repulsion field looks great.

High level players often visit lower PVP zones, they have more slots than you :P

The problem with the accuracy most likely lays with the enemy having mez protection. If they have mez protection, your controller powers will do very little against them until the antimez toggles have been knocked off. If they have an anti-mez clickpower, you're pretty screwwed until it wears off.

If you manage to get a good team on a good night, in sirens you can get a bit of a head start with SO's, so its worth popping in and sticking around for 10 minutes or so once you hit 20. Good news is you can always go back to the bay later on for some satisfying practice

Stealth, INvisibility, Superior invisibility, none of them work in PvP, it complete and utter (censored) but uv gotta put up with it.

It is very effective but doesnt drop all stalkers hide (mine for example) and while it can interupt my AS its not 100%. It is well worth is and running around bouncing non-EA stalkers about is very funny to watch on both sides )

As for new pvpers, I think 22 with SOs is really the minimum lvl to have a good go and 30 is best so you have a good amount of powers and slots

Uh, I use stealth.

Trust me, it works. The thing right now is that a lot of players are putting the Leadership pool into their builds - one of the powers being +Perception, ie, they can see through stealth, Hide, Invisibility, etc - not sure of the exact maths, but that's why stealth has been 'nerfed' (untrue of course).

Just by using stealth, I have surprised a few players in PVP, maybe not stalkers or the builds with Leadership, but enough for me to keep it for my PVE / PVP build.

And swallowing a couple of yellows also goes against hiding players

Works fine on my Elec/Elec Blaster to give me a touch of a suprise factor when I snipe from range.

Now, if you're trying to be a Stalker as a hero, well it just ain't going to wash - almost anyone will see through unstacked stealth powers at melee range!
