Force Mastery, good epic??
Jewely,
Chango has Force and I like it a lot. I skipped the repulsion field because I am in melee quite often. PFF is really only useable as a panic button when you are getting overwhelmed. Temp Invuln has the highest shield resistance to Smashing/Lethal damage (but not other types) so nice to always have on (I slot 3 dmg resists and 1 endred). My favourite power is actually Force of Nature. It's like a mini-MoG: it gives you 2 minutes of scrapper-like resistance (well not quite, but still 35% to all but psi unslotted), higher end recovery, and then your endurance (not health) drops (but you can just pop a blue and be back in business). Recharge is very long of course, so I have 3 dmg res, 3 recharges on it. Lets you get real close to AVs if you use melee powers like me Happy to show you in-game some time if you want (Blapper also went for Force, so he can tell you what he thinks about it).

be great to see it in action sometime soon.

Am pretty sure, both. Temp Invuln is just a shield, so you can use any power. PFF lets you use any power that affects yourself, so should be fine too (but dunno since I don't have invis )

I chose Force Mastery for my epic on my Enery/Energy Blaster. I chose REpulsion Filed over PFF, mainly because it's fun to throw Hellions all over Atlas Park
Temporary Invulnerability is very useful, and Force of Nature is something I tend to use against AVs.
Overall it's a very nice set.

Uh, link?
(Sorry, no views of Force Mastery, never used it)
"I know 653 ways to kill a man. Fist to the face is #56."
There is no free respec with issue 7 because there are no major changes to powers.
I really should do something about this signature.

MoG? More like Invulnerability's Unstoppable.

Well, there's been no announcement either way, just to be really pedantic.
Cryptic have made a rod for their own backs here as people have - predictably - come to expect free respecs as part of a new issues. There's been one with every issue since before EU CoH went live, after all (I3 was the first to offer one).
FWIW, the one that came at around the time of I4 was nominally due to the 1 year anniversary, not because of power changes or I4 itself. I7 is likely to come out pretty near the 2 year anniversary, so I wouldn't necessarily rule it out just yet.

Yup, just without the status resists. Stacking it with TI (both of them slotted up, naturally) will cap you out at 75% S/L resistance which can lead to very impressive results against mobs dealing those damage types.

If this is true (and i've read what _Tundra_ mentioned before), then my blaster is off for a very long vacation.
So i really hope that there's a free respec comming, as i can't find any other ways of respeccing my blaster to get the powers i miss so much, back into the build.

Even if there's no free respec, there are rumours of a plan in the works to allow you to earn additional respecs - probably linked to a TF.

i'll do any of the 3 respec-tf's to get it.
Although i really hope that the respec-tf's will have a small change.
My idea being that when you have done all the respecs, you can still redo them and earn a new respec. But you can only have 1 respec at one time. (can't see why anyone would have multiple respecs anyway).
atm, Star Jewel has done all 3 Respec-TF's and used all 3 respecs (and the 2 free respecs with the new issues)...and now, when she joins a respec-tf, she can't get a new respec-award.

Yes, I guess it's closer to Unstoppable. Just meant that it temporarily increases your damage resistance and allows you to get close to the cap (at least for for S/L) with increased endurance recovery. Hence the "mini" That's what happens when you've never managed to get a scrapper/tank past L20

My blaster's current build is nrg/nrg/flame. (lvl 50)
With the new i7 free respec coming up, i'm thinking of respeccing into Force Mastery as it goes better with the nrg/nrg build. And i want to try something new.
The psi-defense on the Personal Force Field, seems to be usefull. Although not being able to use other powers while useng PFF might be a bit annoying at first.
Slotting Temp. Invul. with 3/4 SO's 50++ will make up the squishieness of the blaster AT a bit. (like i now do with fire-shield).
I need some comments...
Anyone?
