Now that's odd. Seeing as sex is in the dictionary and i've never seen it as a 'rude' word in any sense. They are probably just being pedantic.
I suspect it's more likely to do with the 12+ rating of the game actually...

What's the dictionary got to do with the age rating of the game? It's a shame it took them 6 months to notice, but then, calling your SG by that name was daft anyway...

FFM, considering some of the stuff Miss Ellie get's up to, you should probably get off your high horse.
Be interesting to see if they've managed to get any of the other very dubiously named SGs. It would probably be nice if they paid more attention to the character names going through as well. Aisla spotted 'Frozen Nipples' recently. You'd think the software could flag stuff like this to support for checking...

Hmm... That's the problem with a text medium, tone of voice doesn't come across. What I meant was, it's a shame it's taken them so long to notice and change it, when they really should have done so ages ago. By now the SG has probably gotten well known, and well established, and now they're going to lose some of that, which I don't really see as fair to be honest.
I've no problem with what they call their SG, it's more how the GM's enforce their rules. Given the age rating of the game, the word 'Sex' surely should be on the forbidden list already? As it obviously isn't, then changing their name because they happen to use a permitted word is hardly fair. One can only assume they've been petitioned about it...
Hmmm... Still not 100% sure that says what I mean... Oh well...
As for Miss Ellie's past behaviour, that's an entirely different set of rules so shush! Besides, she's a good kitten now, and you're a fine one to talk anyway!!! At least Miss Ellie doesn't poke peoples eyes out from 10 paces!!

I agree with Deluge. I very much doubt there are too many people over the age of 12 that don't know what the word 'sex' means - and if they don't they can always look it up in a dictionary.

Don't forget they teach sex education in primary school. perhaps we should write to the minister for education and ask for it to be changed to "Generic Human Interaction" education in case anyone gets upset.
This is a case of someone getting a little over zealous with the name changing, if it was my SG I suspect i'd be rightly miffed by that.
I suppose it is always possible that the name was found offensive by someone and was possibly petitioned.
The GMs may not have done it for personal reasons, but were acting on a grievance, but hey I could and possibly am wrong

I'm guessing it took six months for someone to petition your SG - changes tend not to be made without a complaint coming in, from what I've seen.
