So, you're advocating a change to the Ninja Primary from having ranged attacks to melee? Not sure if that's particularly safe since we're a squishy AT - the current archery attacks suit, as the ninja henches do use bows.
The Secondary set certainly couldn't be Martial Arts, as we have Buff/De-buff Secondaries and not damage-based ones.
Maybe some MA powers could be squeezed into the Patron Powers.

Personally, I'm wondering why they didn't take the Shuriken, Exploding Shuriken and Caltrops powers from the Scrapper Weapon Mastery Pool and use them as the attacks in the Ninja/? MM set.
OK, maybe not caltrops since that comes through /traps, but something like Blinding Powder from the ?/nin Stalker set.
Would fit far more with Ninja minions IMO than the bow.

Personaly i think superman is a cheat- his damage output would suggest he is a scrapper as its far too high for a tanker,but his defensive set is far superior to a scrapers(actually its probably higher than an average post ED tank )

Theres are lots of reasons why ninjas would follow someone with limited or no martial skills. Its a nice idea though, maybe the pirate MM set (thats coming isnt it? or is it another rumour?) could have pirate attacks like, cuttlass, pistol, brace of pistols. I would agree Superman = Brute, Batman = Stalker. And to make it more complete Superman Natural Brute (Super Str/ Invurnabilty x 1000) Superman is a wuzz -_- the most lame hero in the historie of hero tales!. A guy wearing red underwear out on his jeans, and he cant be hurt unless you take him to a jewelstore LAME! :P Batman Tech/Natural Stalker (Martial arts/Nin) Batman is the more cool hero, actually he got some charsteristics of a villain, when he hang ppl over buildings if they wont tell him the truth XD luv him. Stalker why a stalker!!! cuz Batman is a sneaker take out the first 1 or 2 silently then go monkeyberzerk on the rest! placate a couple of times tho but utterly crush em with a powerfull blow from his mighty hand that created the world, or his foot that made the very sky above! then he sometimes use some gadget, Bat-shurikens XD caltropes would fit nicely to this. And lets not forget that batman is a samuria/ninja psycho! GO BATMAN! but scrap the new batmobil, its lame to look at -.- and dump robin he is but a boyscout! ooh btw, why is superman a brute and not a hero.. because no man deserves to be a hero if he just takes his glasses off and then no one can reconize him -.- DIE SUPERMAN! i wish that stateman finish you off :P

all the masterminds I have known in my life from superman or batman had Martial arts for their own method of self defence. it's kind of obvious when you think about it. it almost makes no sense for a man with control of ninjas and karate men not to know a matrial art themself
