I must admit sometimes when I'm playing with my ice/cold corruptor I wonder why I actually need to team beyond generating bigger enemy groups

Not for the reason outlined. You've been able to do exactly the same thing in COH with all defender teams for a while...

Indeed, except that Corrupters have more offensive powers for blasting (might be cancelled out by the Defenders more powerful buffs / debuffs).
And the fact there seems to be a higher % of Corrupters on CoV compared to % defenders on CoH means it happens a lot more frequently too.

On Issue 1 , one blaster could solo a 8 man mission :P

I have fire/dark corruptor at level 30 now - and well I think we should get some nerf, we are just unstopable
Though I generaly have feeling that CoV alts are somehow more powerfull then CoH ones and in this case...

I think it is more perception than reality. I could be wrong of course - but I have a corruptor and a defender both at 27 and they both level at about the same speed (although the solo/team ratios are slightly different). Plus the hours of elapsed play on them are pretty near identical.

Well, CoV ATs are more general... so corruptors get to deal damage and (de)buff. Multiply the number of corruptors, and you get more damage, and more (de)buffs. It's what you get when you make a more "overall" class.
I think similar things would happen if you got a team of MMs. Although that could work either way, due to lag / low FPS due to mass ammount of pets / bad pet control.
well i do know one thing, fire/kin or dark/kin are powerful builds when played well.. but at the same time, /kin or /dark is a major power up when it comes to PvP and PvE

Every Tuesday evening we have the all-defender-team on Union, the amount of carnage that that team causes is extreme. We did Positron in record time, Frosty and Atta were ridiculously easy, we started Synapse (on invincible) this week and it offers no challenge what so ever despite some of us are fighting +3 +4. It's a sheer xp fest.
The all-defender-team is 8 man, with 8 different defender primaries, while we are still at TO, DO level enhances the sheer amount of buffs and debuffs going around will get everything (except us) killed.

You should make an all-corrupter-team and see what it can do!

A few of us from NSA did an 8 man corruptor team the other day, 5 */Rads, 2 */dark and a thermal. A fearsome sight I have to say. Sure, I still managed to faceplant but it didn't matter, always an instant rez!

I like all defender teams but really in larger teams in CoH I prefer something that gives a bigger mix, essentially because I find the five main archetypes in CoH are designed to work well together, and do. I don't get that feeling in CoV at all, the only team I really play in now is an all corruptor team.
All corruptor teams are very good - the one I run is a mix of rad, dark, kinetic and thermal secondaries, and fire, ice, and rad primaries. I enjoy it - need to keep your head screwed on like in most all squishy teams, mistakes tend to be paid for - but the speed of play is great and I love fast paced play. I'm inclined to think all corruptor teams are slightly faster, simply because of the strength of fire and ice primaries. Although to be fair, rad certainly plays as a very strong defender secondary/corruptor primary.

Wasn't all NSA people - the buld of the */rads were made up by the Majors, G-Zeus and his mates who I did the respec trial with.
It really was excellent fun, but despite being safe as houses I still found new and interesting ways to faceplant

So last night I was fortunate enough to end up on an excellent all-corrupter team. There was a Dark/Kin (me), nrg/kin, rad/rad and dark/ice.
Talk about high speed annilation. It was 2 level 23/24s (me and the d/ice) sk'd to the 2 28s. We tore through 29/30 missions (including a bank job) with absolutely no deaths at all, not one. The amount of kinetics stacks we had was ridiculous. AM, 5 SPs, 1 speed boost and 2 siphon speeds I counted at one point.
I've had this before with all-corrupter teams too. Just total nukage. No need to Tank at all. Buff, debuff and heals all the way.
