At the moment, don't see the point in Hamidon.
1. Is the reward worth the risk? (hmm, a Hami-0 which does the same thing as an SO, except to 2 areas, before ED I could kinda see the point, but after?)
2. The server can't handle the amount of heroes that join the raid (note I didn't say 'needed' for the raid)
3. A blob of Jelly just doesn't seem a 'worthy' opponent for an end-game style challenge.
4. Finally, there seems to be only 1 real way to take down Hami, that doesn't seem to Diversified to me.
I may some day join another raid, when the lag problem is sorted but until then, standing around for a few hours in lag hell just doesn't seem entertaining, albeit that chat channels are 
I thought that most people did really well on the raid til the server got reset. Sympathies to everyone who is suffering from the "still logging out" bug. I foolish took Willow to PI to change her level when i was helping one of my friends out afterwards.....that was about an hour ago and shes stil loggin out. After i'd spent about 20 minutes putting a team together too.
But anyways. I hope the developers can get all this sorted out soon. Next hami raid is next monday, same time same place. Round 2.

Totally agree Ael. The risk isn't worth it. The devs must be able to come up with something better than hammi now.
I managed to clock up 440k debt lasat night for mad hammi to just vanish. Nice one devs.... Not that hammi would have cleared the debt and I am not really bothered about that anyway.
There must be a glitch in I6 somewhere, cause according to the login screen there isn't a huge load on the servers, unless they aren't working.

This would be good, as at moment the lag and disconnects in the game are driving me nuts !!
And as for Hammi that was annoying as hell as we was doing really well. Darn server reset jsut happened at the wrong time and it never even cured the problem of the stuck toons

Sad to read this.
Xironia tried everything to make this raid succesfull,
I even got a tell in-game asking if i was going to ruin the raid again.
Some part, i expected that the servers were going on a meltdown any time this week. The disconnecting issues did not got fixed. Zones offline ( as i have read on union ) and people getting stuck in zones. Too bad it happened during the raid aswell and the server got reset.
Does anyone bother to do it once more before x-mas ?

Heh, typical. Welldone for completing the mission, and sorry i couldn't join you. I s'pose its some blessing that when i tried to log back in about 3am I *could* use Willow again. I was even happyily running around PI killing snowmen. Thanks for the help anyways. Aurora has been stuck on 45/46 since CoV came out and as we've teamed since levels 10-15 I really want to help her hit 50.
On the hamidon note.....Think we can try for a boxing day raid? I've never done a raid before, but the one last night was going really really well, and if we can get the same next week it'll be a great christmas present for us all.

Server saw quite good in the Hive lastnight i got very little lag only got bad for a few secs at a time then went back to being just gfx lag

The map "The Hive" had unfortunately crashed as part of the recent problem with mapserver crashes we have been experiencing due to the strain of an increased amount of players (logging on to check out the Christmas festivities). We have now run emergency maintenance that has resolved this issue.

Yip, got that one as well.
not sure where they get the compensation thing from. although, I do think that players who have been playin since I6 should get some sort of compensation for the dismal server perfomance since then.
As I have said elsewhere, they did compensate us for the serious lag issue in I4....
After about 2 hours of taking out hami's mitos and beginning the holding phase every hero in the hive got disconnected. After re-connecting hami was nowhere to be seen. This is totally ridiculous after the amount of time and effort it had taken to get to that point.
We need more/better servers for the hive when Hami events are underway.
whats the point in an uber end of game (sort of) boss if the servers can't handle the amount of heros needed to take him down?
