Claws/SR insanity?
I'm not an expert on SR or claws, but do you need Conserve Power? Its recharge is now horrible seeing as you can't six slot it or rely on Perma Haste. I wonder if you'd be better served just putting End Reducers in your attacks, especially as Claws powers have a faster than average recharge.
Oh, and three slotted Hurdele? Curious as to why.
Evasion could also use an endred and I would 3-slot lucky with defbuffs. Take them from hurdle.

I found I had an excess of slots and powers towards the end. It's unlikely that the build will be getting anywhere near the epics, so that part is just academic.
3 slotted hurdle might be useful, since I've only got SS, but with some of the junk I took maybe I could fit SJ in there too.

Just a couple of comments: -
I dont think Hasten is required in any SR build now quickness gives you a decent recharge and if youre prepared to slot a recharge enhancement in a couple of your attacks, youll have a fluid attack chain. Itll also mean you can make Practiced Brawler auto-click and not need to worry about when a good time to fire hasten off is. Too much thinking = not enough smashing = bad.
That would free up a power pool, and to be honest whilst travel powers are a matter of taste, I cant imagine playing a melee character now without using air superiority its low-end, quick-recharge and as it does knockdown gives you some control; I cant enthuse enough about this attack enough.

I'd lose Spin, FWIW. I had it, I enjoyed the animation, I ditched it because of the crappy damage.

I don't see the Body Mastery Pool being wholly useful to Claws/SR - I went with Darkness, but I'd be tempted by Weapon Mastery as well - if only for variety!

Super Speed as a travel power is a personal choice, but I'd never take it on a SR. Combat Jumping + Hurdle is a VERY good combat movement power and adds some much-needed defense as well, and SJ goes naturally with that. Ditch Hasten and SS. With Quickness your walking speed will be good enough for most basic purposes, so you can get much needed Health.
Well, I went with Hasten cos I wanted SS and whirlwind (just cos I've never used that one before). I sure as hell ain't getting flurry! Maybe, just maybe I'll go for SJ, but I've got that on a lot of characters already. I'll fit combat jump in somewhere, the extra defence is nice and jumpness is good for a guy called Lions Claw. Maybe I won't slot hasten and put those slots to use elsewhere, like PB (nice tip there Syn, never though about stacking it).
I really really like spin, animation is top, and the damage isn't horrible for an AoE
And lastly, forget about the epic powers, the chance of this guy getting that far, ever, is very remote.

Just one more thing - no-one thinks using follow-up like that is a silly idea? Seems good to me, but having to do the attack every 12s might [censored] up my DPS due to the long animation times. I've not actually got far enough to try it out yet.

This build was initialy built to have a fn time in the lvl 40 tanking avs andf things, it worked, usualy carry mostly Luck with me as if i use those i can be untouchable as it will top my defences..i can taunt and hit a +2 av for 6 minuits without elude.
Low lvls is hard at times as SR doesnt seem to do its job untill you have a lot of +def stacked together, which makes endurance hard to manage for large groups, hence the reason to have spin.
Umm, have you only got 2 attacks for a reason?
strike, slash, follow up, spin
4 attacks and kick if something is slowing my attacks down, all low endurance costing and fast regenerating.
Follow Up doesn't really class as an attack
At the moment it seems to me that you are trying to be a poor man's tanker, Scrappers are really all about damage and it seems a bit odd that you don't take the two best attacks in the set, Focus and Eviscerate!
lol, well im lvl 50 and ppl like to have me around for agro taking, so it works.
I admit it isnt nothing to what a tank can do, its about the insp or buffs i get.
some reason i cant keep focused with low lvl tanks.

Yes if he wants to have perma-whirlwind and hasten running with a 40 second downtime. CP can just aobut cover gaps between eludes with hasten and quickness boosting it.

But it does shorten the attack chain in tense situations and brings elude back quicker and it's corresponding uberness.

But works extremely well with hurdle in a speedster concept build.
I'd say take three slots out of follow up and use them to put endreds in the toggles. I'd also reocmmend taking the extra slots out of hurdle and slotting lucky up to three defenses.
Just giving you my Claws/SR build. I have this to lvl 44 on Infity/US. You can do many wierd things with Claws. At present, she is a short-range flying blaster with defense.
I have been thinking of respeccing her to a Stalker Hunter with Maneuvers and Tactics - along with Focused Senses, of course.

i was reading that thinking dark epic for claws and super reflex i can see the logic and man u know how to slot until i saw that eviscerate had no end redux and evasion had 3 that left me confused. Also i find claws to have not the greatest of accuracies at times so somit more than 1 accuracy slot is nice. But most importantly id definately move 1 of the end reduxes from evasion to eviscerate and make a heavy attack of choice more accurate. Its eviscerate that is the most damaging so thatll be my choice.

I've gone and refined the build somewhat, after reading what you all said. The only problem I have with this now is that until lvl 18 I only have 2 attacks and one of those is slow to recharge (spin, which some say is pants, but at least the animation is good). It might end up being a respec to this build at 24, just to fit more attacks in at lower levels to make things more fun.

i got 1 end redux on all my toggles and my stamina is amazing, all attacks of mine are end slotted as they cost more than a tick, 2 recharge on practise brawler is enough. Maybe you, like many, may want to be dead sure.
i find claws to be poor accuracy and poor damage but good recharge and good endurance. If you dont like follow up, 2acc, 1 end and 3 dam is prolly needed, with that i doubt you would miss focused accuracy though.

I strongly recommend 2xrecharge in Strike, Focus and Eviscerate - otherwise you may have trouble forming a complete attack chain when Hasten isn't up.
You might be right there. I think I'll choose a lot of attacks and try them out as much as I can, with just the bare bones from the SR side of things up until 24 where I'll respec into something more sensible.
