Ice/Dark Corruptor - Better holds than a Domnator?

Single Target terror? It's better than that. Fearsome Stare is a Cone Fear/Terror effect.
It's certainly a more flexible build than any Dominator I can think of. You have Blasts, holds and a pet but you get heals and serious debuffs too.
I love my Ice/Dark, too.
The Ice holds don't last long, especially the first one. Stacked, however, they can take out a boss for a short while... and they've saved me from debt a good number of times when I just needed to stop one mob from attacking while I took out another. Plus, they're great when you're on a team with a Dominator - I can help lock down AVs/Heroes. In fact, I held a Hero with the help of another Ice Corruptor. Didn't last long, but we managed it. I've even managed to hold Scrappers in PvP, and I don't have the Dark hold yet. Again, it just doesn't last as long as you'd expect from a Dominator.
It's a great build though. It doesn't surprise me that more and more people seem to be posting about it - I did it just because I wanted to try out Dark Miasma and liked the sound of Ice. It's been a nice surprise, finding out how powerful and fun it is to play.

Ice/dark is the second best single target holder in the game, but I'd still say that mind/ dominators take the first place because of TK.

Got Ice/Dark as well... i cna almost chainhold lvl42 Bosses... 3x acc 3x hold, am remember, always bitter freeze ray first, then freeze ray, blast your ice bolts, one heal, next freeze ray etc...
single bosses usually dont hit me at all lol.

Pretty much the attack chain I go with, but until I can really afford a full set of enhancements, it's just not going to happen. 
Also got one of these, for the holding power though not really leveled it yet.
Mind dominators will always have the edge on holding, when you add domination to them it gets silly, but I'd say an Ice/Dark could whip me on single target holds, if Jack Frost isn't summoned, if he is, then power boost, domination and Jack migh just even me up

Well, I've just recently got my Ice/Dark up to the level where you get Freeze Ray. It's much much more fun than the Ice/Ice Dominator I started, but then I tend to prefer characters that have a lot of tricks up their sleeves. Ice/Dark has them apenty! Possibly more fun than my 32 Robotics/FF MM

I've just put one of these together, and I must say, I love the single target damage, and yummy tar patch, and other debuffs.
But, what really attracted me to this combo are the holds - three single target holds (2 Ice Blast, 1 Dark Miasma), and the single target Terror. Is there a dominator set that can match this?
