I've never had so much fun playing a toon in either CoH or CoV

Same here, there's nowt quite like commanding a (rather small) army of the undead to thwart your enemies...or ya know, just make them dance about a bit. That's hours of fun.
"Maybe in the end, what makes heroes into heroes...is that we're just too stupid to quit."
I find it hilarious to sneak up on someone in the pvp areas and deploy ninjas all around them when they dont expect it . It is a fantastic AT to play
Enjoy it while you can. This is our golden age. I'm sure a nerf bat will be along soon enough...

Actually, the next thing due for Masterminds is a buff. The fix for the powers granted by upgrades not taking into account enhancements slotted in the summons.

And well... That's about it. Masterminds are great I've never had so much fun playing a toon in either CoH or CoV, and the interactions for comic effect are endless

Totally agree with you
Starting at head-start i built a stalker, a brute and finally a mastermind...
It's really great how u can 'command' your army...
and i played almost solo, and after few mishes, i raised the difficulty level.
Sorry for stalker and brute, but i'm going to play mm for the future (still waiting my box, sigh )

In that case, wouldn't that rather be a fix? Though I really think we'll be nerfed pretty soon - at the end of the Beta I was a Ninja / Force Field Mastermind of level 14 (having 3 pets, 2 genins and a jounin) and I soloed 4 level 25 minions ... 4 mobs 11 levels above me - now that was just plain sick :P Ok, all pets died once, but by the time the genins were dead I was down to 2 enemies, when the jounin finally died only 1 enemy was left and he was wasted pretty fast as well.
Though I like feeling that power day after day, I cannot believe that this won't be changed

You can't call a bug fix a buff.
Unless you're a Dev of course

you realise that was becasue all the longbow etc.. acted as giant monsters, so everyone could take part my lvl 5 stalker could take out lvl 50 stuff (slowly, but surely).
now i'm not saying MMs arn't strong. i have a Necro/dark MM i'm solo'ing with, on Ruthless. All yellow and orange.. i can solo quite easily on that (due to them not being able to hit me or my pets )
I agree with the starting posters opinion...to a point, having a lvl 50 Tanker, sitting back and watching really isnt my play style...I prefer gettin hands on and stuck in, so to speak. Whether you like a MM or not is completely down to your play style..

I too started as a tanker, fire/fire to be exact, so i guess sitting back and not doing the work for once is a god send
Yeah, it's fun. Just got my assault bot (it rules) . When i started the character the missions felt SO easy it was almost like.. yawn, then i pumped the missions to ruthless and voila, good amount of action keeping me awake.
My role, is purely support that i have adapted but i do take a shot or two sometimes. TBH the only problem sometimes, is the environment.. like the cave missions.
i like the missions with large rooms, where i can hover and command my troops from above, it almost feels like playing an rts game. (had that thought while doing sky raider mission like that).
