Containment is controller inheret power, dominators have domination.

Ahhh see thats where you're confused... YOU hold things so your PET can hit them.
He has hold too, but I will have Greater Ice Sword

Jack has greater ice sword too!
I remember when I first got my Jack on my controller. He was a bit rubbish with the ice blasts but I eventually coaxed him into melee range and was pleasantly surprised with his holds and ice sword which seemed to be doing decent damage and then he whipped out his greater ice sword and ZOMG!!!! LOOK AT THE DAMAGE!!!
You have to remember I had been 32 levels as an ice controller at this point, beating things to death slowly with 30 damage worth of air superiority so my pet suddenly doing several hundred damage to something almost made me pee myself.

Now...when you use your domination power, does your pet, or your pet's powers (holds if anything) last longer as your powers would do?

Domination is a self buff, so no.
Oh, back on topic then, OK. Well I dont think it will effect the pet, as its a self buff, as mentioned by Max.

For those of you have who had the chance to experience a higher level dominator, (post 32 when you've got your pet), how does Containment affect it? Are pets even affected?

Well Containment doesn't affect Controller pet dmg so I'd guess it works the same in that Dominate only affects your powers.
