Thursday Rikti Mothership Raids

OK, so it's settled then?
Tonight people should be wearing "Low Lag, No Capes, No Auras, No Tints" Costumes?

Can we spread the word to others about the Raid Costumes? I still refuse to wear the Raidkini.... But you guys go ahead and rock on with your bad selves. I will be supplying melon-ballers free to anyone who wants to take their eyes out due to banana hammock overload.

I dont think its the capes/auras so much as the customized powers. We never had a problem with capes and auras prior, so I don think they are the culprit.

Just a reminder that the Rikti mothership raid is tonight. Also a reminder that the following is in effect for tonight: No capes, no auras, and no customized powers. Preferably, a Riktikini should be worn, but as long as you don't have a cape, an aura, and no customized powers, you're good. :P

Yes, I know that the capes and auras likely had nothing to do with the major lag during last week's raid. But I figure, might as well through in the whole kit and kaboodle while we're at it, and see how it works.

Expect that there will likely be a number of people who wont know about the whole no cape thing until they show up, ICON contact in RWZ could get alot of business in a short time, maybe some should broadcast it a bit prior to raid?

Well, as everyone knows that showed up last night, the lag was no different last night than it was the week prior. It was still atrocious.

I don't know what the future holds for Rikti mothership raids. I suppose we'll just have to keep on sludging our way through the lag every Thursday night until the people at Paragon Studios come up with a solution. Yurgh.

I've officially confirmed with Back Alley Brawler that the lag we've been experiencing with the Rikti mothership raids the past couple of weeks have absolutely nothing to do with costumes, so feel free to wear whatever y'all want to wear this week.

Tonight will be the tenth weekly Rikti mothership raid. My, how time flies. See y'all at the same bat-time, same bat-Pylon.

Maybe it was the less people, Maybe there was a patch put in place, Maybe the tooth fairy accidentally blew fairy dust on the Champion Server, but whatever the reason the Static Team Mothership Raid last night was mostly lag-less. A little lag here and there, but not unbearable.

Here's hoping tonight is as good.

According to the email I got back from support, the server maintenance on Monday was supposed to clear some of that up. I guess there's the chance that the cache just needed clearing with a reboot.

Yep, I ran two raids tonight, back-to-back, and they were both mostly lag free. A little lag here and there, but nothing like the prior two weeks. Good to see.

It's been brought to my attention that the Rikti War Zone may be full tomorrow night with people getting their co-op powerleveling on since double experience weekend kicks off tomorrow. What would y'all think of canceling this week's raid?

Whoever negative repped my original post in this thread the other day with the comment, "lol, lagfests," feel free to come to the mothership raid this Thursday. :P It's been mostly lag free the past couple of weeks.

I'm sorry to see that the lag returned to the mothership raid tonight. :\ Hopefully, if everyone there submitted a petition about the lag, NCSoft will get some valuable information to fix it.

In the meantime, since there will be no mothership raid two weeks from now, I will run two back-to-back mothership raids next week. See y'all then!

Despite the lag, I still had fun.
