Please, I beg you, stay Bots/TA. Really, you'll be so happy you did. Trick Arrow has got to be one of the most enjoyable sets in the game, to me at least. Not only that, but Bots/TA has some pretty good synergy. Oil Slick with the Assault Bot (nasty), EMP Arrow's -recovery doesn't matter as much because your offense doesn't use up endurance (it's your pets!), and all of the controls help you keep things within the massive AoE carnage that is Bots.
Plus, it's just so refreshing to see a /TA MM out there.
I never seen a Bots/TA before at all which is why I decided to roll one. It's meh from the beginning, and now it's doing alright. My MM is currently sitting at 31 and halfway to 32. I can't wait and hopefully I won't be disappointed.

Slow start, picks up with Protector Bots, picks up again with Acid, Assault Bot and Disruption, then takes off at a ridiculous pace with the second upgrade.

synergies great with Mace Mastery. Scorpion Shield w/ Proto shields. Powerboost w/ EMP etc
Yea, try to stick it out to 32; it's more than worth it. I remember thinking "man, I can't do this anymore.. It's just too slow" at 30. But I toughed it out to 32 and then I had one of the most powerful characters I had ever made. Of course, mine was a Bots/FF which is more durable, but can't dish out the damage that Bots/TA can.
You can start a new trend! AE babies will see your combo in the 30's and just be in awe at how awesome it is.
Bots/TA is far better than most give it credit for. My Bots/TA has the protector bots slotted with two l50 IOs for def buff, maneuvers, the +def unique IO, flash arrow, and nightfall. It takes a bit of work, but critters have nearly as low a ToHit chance as against a bots/ff, with quite a bit more damage potential.
Speaking of AE, I haven't tried mine in an AE recently, have they fixed the latest Oil Slick Arrow bug yet, where it wasn't lightable in AE missions?
My Bots/TA is a joy to play, the only major draw back is that TA takes a while to develop as a secondary.
I stacked Maneuvers and some bonus defense with the Protector Bots' bubbles and mixed in the To-Hit debuff from Flash Arrow and presto the bots are very sturdy. With the bag of tricks TA has you can handle most anything in the PvE game.

If you feel like you have to skip a secondary, the leave out flash arrow or delay it. Everything else you want. Poison gas arrow seems kind of meh from the description but take it, take it ASAP.

As mentioned by Luminara, I wrote a Bot/TA guide (working link in sig), it was my first level 50 character. It's been a while since I played her, more of a falling out with MMs for some reason, though I've made two other TAs, and one of them became my third 50.
Like everyone else said, it's fun and unique. Good solo, good in teams, just good overall. And after 32, amazing.

The reason it seems good is because it has debuffs and control, and the Oil Slick might come in handy with the Assault Bots flamethrower. What do you guys think?
