I've tried thugs, and for some reason, i just can't get into them. Maybe it was me being /Pain, but for some reason I was just not enjoying them. Zombies, however, I have enjoyed before, but right now I think I'll stick with Bots/TA as my main.

I had heard that this was an uncommon and somewhat strategic route to take for being a MM. It seems like it will be good, and I do enjoy it (I'm only lvl 4 though lol). But I was wondering how it will be throughout the game (solo), end-game and on teams? If not, should I go something stereotypical like /Dark or /Pain?

The reason it seems good is because it has debuffs and control, and the Oil Slick might come in handy with the Assault Bots flamethrower. What do you guys think?

I just made a Bot/TA MM, and for some reason I just love it. I'm only level 3 and I enjoy it. Usually the levels 1-6 are completely terrible (not level 6 itself, getting to it).

I tried a sonic/elec blaster and just couldn't get into it. Sorry Chompie.

Yea i really like the concept of MM's, but I just can't find a set I like. I've had fun with most all of them, just a few got a little boring at times. I think I'm just an altoholic lol. What would you suggest for MM primary? I've played everything and gotten to about lvl 14 with everything (on my main account. Right now I'm playing on trial accounts to find a few good powersets to play).

I'm thinking of going with Mercenaries. When I had them I remember really enjoying them. I refuse to play ninjas. I just don't really like them.

I should also tell you guys that, as for previous MMOs, I've always seemed to like the Hybrid class. Jack of all trades, master of none. So if there are any powerset combos like that in the game, please list it. Thanks.

So I really enjoy City of Heroes, and I've gone back and forth between being a subscriber and not playing it, but I always have this dilemma. I can never stick with a character. I don't know what it is, but I just can't. I know it's possible, I just need some help. So, if I list my playstyle below, could you help me out? If you could suggest something that fits it and actually describe it, that would be so awesome!

1. I like being valuable to a team, but not to the point where I can't even solo.
2. I'm fine with any type of combat really, ranged or melee.
3. I like having a little strategy involved in my character. If it's always going to be the some button combination over and over, that's no fun.
4. Having a Plan B is always nice. If something goes wrong, I don't want to be repeatedly screaming "I'm screwed! I'm screwed! I'm screwed!!"
