Black Scorpion has an +Defense Armor and it is probably your best bet. With so many VEATs running around, you can reach the soft cap with good teaming.
The others are just ... well, just worth for the unique animations

Black Scorp's shield isn't positional like arctic fog, so it doesn't stack with what cold brings.
then what would you suggest as a patron
I would say Ghost widow for Power Boost or Mako for hibernate. The +Res shields favor cold more than black scorpions Def shield because the +Res stacks with arctic fogs where as the +Def does not.

Oops; I forgot that it has it's own endurance recovery power.

Ok i went Mako but im having an issue withe blizzard its 6 slotted and im still havin end issues ie being that is sucks is all away any suggestions?

Get into melee with mob -> Aim -> Sleet -> Ice Storm -> Blizzard -> pop a blue inspiration -> Heat Loss
The +Recovery isn't enough to counter the -Recovery from the nuke but you will have a full endurance bar after heat loss fires off at the end which will last you long enough for the nuke debuff to wear off and the +recovery to kick in.
ok I have just rolled an ice ice corr and really love the set and am looking to see what would be the best patron for this type of AT?
