Best Mob Killer

Okay, I'm looking to get one of those scrappers that can take on a whole mob themselves in AE. Someone told me it was fire/shield and some of the posts here seem to support that.

Is there a better mob-solo combo ?

It is dependent on the type of enemies you are fighting. For harder targets I would say Fire/Shield would be great but for more AoE I would say Spines/WP will do it.

Dark/Spines is great for it.

It depends what kind of mob.

If you're aiming for lieutenants of any kind, mitigation won't be a problem and it's best to aim for as much offensive output as possible. For that purpose, I'd go with Fire/Shield, Spines/Fire or Spines/Dark.

If you'd like to take on packs of level 52+ bosses, you'll want good mitigation to get it done efficiently ; go Fire/Invul or Spines/Invul.

Anything WP will perform well, given some mitigation. I've got a BS/WP that can last forever against a fair few level 52 bosses, so long as I'm using Parry. If you want to be quicker than BS (mostly ST damage), try Fire or Spines. Be warned on Fire, though... there's no mitigation in it.

*EDIT* Dark is extremely effective, as well. The heal in it is great, and the damage boost from Soul Drain is awesome.

spines/elec..... nvm, gotta wait for that one.

Electric would be pretty interesting though, it'll need some inventions to make it beefy though.

This. For boss spawns 52 and up, go /invuln.

For LT spawns (or regular spawns with just 1 boss) /dark and /fire are both fine.

/wp is ok, but I'd prefer either extreme survivability to specific types or extra damage, and /wp is neither.
