The graphic for this toggle is large an intrusive, can we tone it down so I don't see the stuff flying in my face when super jumping around, or obscuring half my character? Just a little adjustment it needs.

Yes, absolutely. The slug trail that follows behind me while I'm flying (particularly when scouting an outdoor map) is obnoxious.

We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...

Can we do this for ALL auras, too? So I don't have to zoom out 500% to not be blinded by an aura?

you could just turn down graffics to minimum :P

Purposely gimping the quality of the rest of the game is not an acceptable solution, thank you.

You could also try turning it off.

Try a /Shield using the Darkness elemental shield. Every time Active Defense goes off (I have it perma, of course) I have a dark blur obscuring my vision while flying for several minutes.

Don't worry, when power customization (i16 is coming soon) comes you can make it a lighter color and tone it down yourself.

So instead of gimping my graphics, you suggest I gimp my actual character.

Um, you don't have to run around with Shadowfall on constantly, dude. I don't see how not using Shadowfall while you are traveling is considered a gimp.

If I'm scouting a map looking for a boss/hostage, I want my stealth on. If I'm hovering slightly above the action, I want the def/res.

I don't use it while flying to and from the Black Market in Cap.

here's where you argument falls completely apart.

I happen to like shadowfall *just* as it is.

So therefore, we have a group of players who do not like the graphics, and a group of players that do.

Now, since these graphics aren't causing any physical harm (see: Sonic Resonance) which do you think the devs would rather do

A: Leave the graphics the way they are, meaning no need to put extra work into it and annoying the group that doesn't like the graphics

B: Change the graphics, meaning time spent not developing new content and annoying the group of people that like the graphics the way they are

Now obviously neither of these is ideal, but those are the only 2 options, so it's a matter of a lesser of 2 evils.

I think you underestimate our fools, sir.

Why /duel is a bad idea
