Going Rogue and Power/Epic Pools

An interesting question here, if side switching will be allowed,
does that mean we will see new epic and patron pools,
-Obvsiously if a Brute goes blue before 40, he won't be getting a Patron Pool, and it would make sense he would get epics instead
-If a blaster goes red, he now would be able to get a Patron Arc now, wouldn't he?

I do suspect the respective new pools will follow the same pattern as the pools, currently available to that AT, and even some of the same powers reused

I really do hope they create Villain Epics and Hero Patrons (Sister Psyche, Positron, BaBs and Synapse/Manticore??).

New epics & patrons? Maybe some day down the road.

Seems logical to me once GR goes live patrons will open up to a villain at lvl 41 just like epics open up to a hero at 41.

No need to see your patron & run the arc. If heroes can tap into a new pool of powers without any backstory, I don't see why villains can't do the same...

With the changes to patron pools, they no longer are really patron pools. I mean, I do widdow's arc, pick her my patron and then take Scropion's set.

What I forsee is removing the requirement to do the patron arc to get your epics villain side, although it's nifty to get a respec out of it, and keep the arc as your pick of patron badge. Heroes gone bad can just do this.

It's very likely power customization will allow (eventually) to customize these so they dont feel so tied up to the patron concept.

Souls set is basically just dark epic.
Leviathan is basically cold.
Mu is electricity.
Mace is energy (sort off, its the only weapon based epic around.)

So what Patron set will blasters qualify for? The same as stalkers or corruptors?

The same as blasters do now. Before they feel forced to give patrons to heroes gone bad they may just rename villain patrons to seem more hero-standard.

This. My Elec/Elec Brute went Mako for Patron (seemed the most likely for her to go for), but she's grabbing Mu Mastery to fit her theme (Electricity).

My Widow went Sciricco, but she's grabbing Soul Mastery to fit her theme.
