Sirens call help

Currently my fire/da scrapper is level 22 but levellin fast [yes i know lol DA but i like it] and want to have the second build built for sirens pvp.
Any builds/hints or tips for my character? Bit unsure what powers/set bonuses i should be going for at that level since iv only really aimed for level 50 builds before. Guessing resistance isnt as usefull at this level as say at level 50 but def would be better off?

Also, cloak of darkness . . . . . . worth taking or better off with tactics?

damage resistance is preferable to defense at the moment, especially since the levels of defense youc ould get with a /DA aren't particularly high.

as for overall build advice, i don' thave much, but with cloak of darkness you get a stealth power and increased perception - i'd try to get both that and tactics if you're concerned about upping your perception.

dark actually gets some of the highest resistence in the game - but your going to need acro and it's end heavy (sure you know that). Not sure of the DR numbers... All depends on the level you get to before you roll into sirens. More slots = better chance :P

he doesnt need acro if he puts in some kb resist io's. i have a fire/da myself and right now have 2 kb io's in it. soon as i get more slots i'll ahve 3 which is more then enough.

umm no..3 kb proc will get you 12 kb resist before dr. Your going to get knocked back.

Yeah, 12 KB protection in PvE is like what, 3-4 in PvP? =/

The kb gets dred to so that part is irrelevant. The relevant part is the kb powers that do 20-40 kb pre dr that will toss you around. If you are being serious about pvp and have no kb protection you want to aim for around the low 40s in kb protection.

12 points of kb is 3.9. i know because the fire/ss tank i have has this. well actually he has 15 points which is 4.3 now. i don't get kb'd at all except if someone can stack it which is very rare. in fact the toons i have that have the kb protection built in at 10 points with 1 kb io don't get knocked around. acro is a wasted power and a huge waste of end.

So the -mez duration must be meaningless in acro then. Thanks for misinforming the newer players. Feel free to leave your bad ideas to yourself.

if he wants to just stand there and not attack cause he wont have any end sure he can take acro. but i prefer to be able to fight seeing as how you cant win if you don't. and DA already has mez protection built in to it other then hold which doesn't last long enough to worry about.

also remember this is for SC not RV so he won't have Conserve Power. i have taken my lv 29 fire/da scrap through SC many times and have no problem with the build i have so far. pre i13 maybe i would have thought about picking up acro but post i13 it is not needed.

I agree with Sharker. My Claw/DA (I know lawls) is great in SC without Acro. 3 KB IOs work fine for them. One in a shield, one in SS, one in SJ. All I need in SC. Suprisingly, he does good x.o

Of course, this is Virtue PvP and the villians there are lol alone. Even MY villains in SC. (exception with my MM, sadly).

Anyways we should stop thinking pre-i13 cause it won't be that ever again =P
