The only thing that sucks is how will we know how much defiance each power gives?

Odd. The only problem I had was with Taunt. I made a character by grabbing each primary from Claws as it became available, and the same for each secondary power from Super Reflexes. Then, I filled in the last few power slots with Pool Powers. Saved, reopened, and Tuant was showing in the list as not being selected. I could still add slots to it, but I couldn't remove it. I tried copying Taunt from Battle Axe and pasting it over what was there, but the results were the same.

I made a new character, and only gave them Taunt. Saved, reloaded, and Taunt was still showing as not selected. I clicked it, and it added Taunt again. I was able to make a character who had Taunt for all their powers from Level 12 by selecting Taunt, saving, reopening the character, and clicking Taunt again.

I reopened the DB, and this time, I copied Taunt from Battle Axe for Tankers. Pasted it into Claws for Brutes, changed the level from 10 to 12, saved & closed the DB, closed Mids', restarted, and Taunt worked fine.

I'm pretty sure Whirling Sword will be removed from Stalkers just like the Katana PbAoE (Lotus Drops) was dropped from Ninja Blade.

Stalker Broadsword (based on the Katana/Ninja Blade differences, as well as the fact that Mids' internal names for both those sets matches the Broadsword names):

MurderousMalk: I just added in Claws to Brutes, made up a new build, saved it, closed Mid's, reopened and then opened the build and everything was as I had left it.

You probably missed a step somewhere, double check everything and if that doesn't solve the problem let me know and I'll see if I can fix it.

Imaheroe: As has been pointed out Scourge comes with the power information, and it just leads to a bunch of confusion if it starts showing up places you know? The Defender versions are just the basic powers, and it's much easier to edit the levels than it is to edit the Inherent abilities. At least I think so.

If you want to use the Corruptor versions and save the extra minute or so go for it : )

Fhorar: I'm checking right now, but if you link the powers in-game and make them the Blaster versions the defiance numbers should show up, then you can add them in.

Edit: Nope, I was wrong. The numbers show up for all other Blaster powers, but not non-Blaster powers. Most likely because the numbers haven't been calculated.

Kheldarn: I didn't run into this problem either. You fixed it, so I suppose that's all that really matters.

For scrappers, should I pull Elec. Armor from Brutes or stalkers?

Brutes, Stalkers have Hide as opposed to the whole set.

Question is, can all the updates that will need to be done (ie all the new powers and such) be released as a general update so that everyone will have the same one (yes, this is my way of asking someone else to do the updates so I only need apply them)

LOL. Good Question Robert_B but I think we need to wait until we get the 'official' power set lists from the devs. What we are doing right now is to cobble together a builder for us to see what we can do with the new powers.

When I added Claws to Brutes, I copied Taunt from another Brute powerset (shouldn't matter which one), since Scrappers get Confront.

Finally, when you add a new set, it will show up at the bottom of the list. If you want it to show up in the proper alphabetical place, in the second window, where it shows the sets, there are two buttons at the bottom labeled Up and Down. Click the powerset you want to move, then click Up until it's where it should be.

For exmaple, when Radiation Blast was added by following the steps in your guide, it was listed after Sonic Attack. I selected Radiation Blast, clicked the Up button, and it was moved above Sonic Attack. Now, in Mids', when I make a new Blaster, Radiation Blast will come before Sonic Attack and after Psychic Blast.

I tend to move the Set after I've added all 9 powers to it, but before I click on Save & Close. After I've moved it to the proper place, then I'll Save & Close, and restart Mids'.

Is there a way to DL all of your work, ala how Mids use to be updated. Can we update from your build? Basically, can I cheat and copy your fixes. . . lol.

That'll have to be a bridge we cross when we arrive to it. I myself wouldn't mind doing it one time, just to get it up to date, but like has been said this isn't actual updating. To update it correctly would require the release of the source code Mid uses, something I do not forsee happening anytime soon.

I wonder if that's what caused my Elec Melee and Elec Armor for Scrappers to not work right... I spent the time to add Elec Melee, and fought with Confront, before it worked right, then added in Elec Armor. Made a Test character, re-opened, and while all the powers were in the slots, nothing was "selected" in the power lists. Totally angrified me.

Time to check out the new version!

After I saw this, the first thing I did was add every powerset I could think of to every AT.

After doing that, I -really- want Dark Blast for Blasters. Gloom at a nice 110 damage in 1.1 seconds, Night Fall, TT...

Hopefully with aim instead of Torrent and a life drain that had the siphon life treatment. That would be sweet.
