Future request: Custom Sounds?

that might be taking customization a step too far I think. Now disabling specific sounds is a completely different story.
Eh, the only annoying sounds were Targeting Drone and some Willpower toggles... and the devs have scaled them back to be less annoying over the years.

Even after 4+ years, I still play with sound on. Since the sky seems the limit on what the devs are willing to give us, I'm all for customizable sounds.

I'd like to see emanation points first. I'm not really sure why Energy Torrent comes out of my feet. Emanation points would have to come with animation options though.

I agree, Dispari. I was just curious if that's more or less work to do more animations than to record different sounds.
Also, if someone makes the Rad Sniper Blast "Star Trek Photon Torpedo" the sound for EVERYTHING they do.... you're going to have to give other players the ability to mute you lol.

I think of it as the Martian Green Disintegration Bolts sound. One reason I'm looking forward to Rad Blast on Blasters is that I can justify taking it . . .
That said, I'd like to change a few sounds if I could; Shout from Sonic comes to mind.

Yeah, I remember there used to be a way to stick a custom silent sound in to replace Targeting Drone since it drove people insane to listen to have their speakers on and have to listen to it...
you could probably do that for powers, still, but only you would know.
So long as I can change the sound on Dual Blades I'm all for it. I keep rolling and deleting DB because of the "CLING-CLANG! CLING-CLANG!" of the first few powers in that set. They're supposed to be Dual Blades, not steel drums.

But what about Custom sounds for your powers?
Or is this one of those /fasepalm moments for the devs? I'm more than happy to just color tint my powers and many people I play with don't even have sounds enabled... but was just wondering what would be envolved in choosing what you want your attacks to sound like.
