Issue 16 question?

Not only does the newly updated Character Creator allow players to jump directly between Archetype, Powersets, Costumes and Character ID in any order without losing progress, but it also allows you to select your colors and theme for each individual power or apply it to the entire powerset. These themes will allow for color tinting of geometry and particle effects such as energy blast colors and force field colors. The primary and secondary colors of any power effect can be changed individually for each power in the set.

Am I reading this right? Does this say we will be able to change an Ax/WP brute to a fire/fire corruptor at lvl 38 and not lose anything? If so, I'm not really sure what to think about that. so....am I reading that right?

No, it means there's no "next" button when you make a new character. You can make the ID first, then the costume, THEN select the powersets.
Oooh...so just a different layout at charcter creation then? That makes alot more sense!
I had to read that section twice. At first I thought the same as you

I thought it meant they could choose from any archetype power, had to read it a couple times, glad it wasn't what I thought
I am really excited for this issue

You aren't the only one.

If you are treasure hunting on a battlefield wearing an enemy uniform, there is a high probability that you will be attacked.

Nope what it is saying is that during character CREATION, you can jump between the various screens that you have to run through. So if you decide to make a techno blaster and pick fire/devices and get to the model screen and decide you want a magic blaster that is ice/ice, you can jump to whatever screen you want to go to rather then hitting back back back click click click.
I can't wait, I usually have to run back and chance origin or some other thing because I changed my mind about the character I'm making entirely.
Thank you Wolfwood82. For a minute there I was worried I was the only person who read it right the first time.

I don't get it. It seemed pretty clear to me. Guess people will read what they want to read, though.

Wishful thinking would be my guess. You read it correctly but then let your desires make you second guess what you read. It's like when you get that Publishers Clearing House letter and your brain skips over that "May", in "You may have won $10,000,00.00!"
More like dread than desire.

Or there could be a next but it doesn't forget everything if you go back...
Infinity and Victory mostly
dUmb, etc.
lolz PvP anymore, Market PvP for fun and profit
I'm thinking it is going to be set up kind of like the mission creation screen in MA. You can either do every thing in order like we do now, or you can skip back and forth through it.
It will be pretty cool to come up with a cool costume idea and then decide what AT and powerset you think it fits the best, instead of backing up to change things and having to start all over.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

Probably more like the AE's mission creator interface, where there's a Next button at the bottom but also buttons at the top that directly allow you to go to different functions.
Freedom: Blazing Larb, Fiery Fulcrum, Sardan Reborn, Arctic-Frenzy, Wasabi Sam, Mr Smashtastic.
Yes, my use of the "no next button" was simply an example of a process that does not FORCE you to go "next" anymore.
