Curious if one exists or if there is an interest

I was wondering if there was a SG/VG that operated as a sort of Suicide Squad like entity.

For those of you who don't know, Suicide Squad is a DC comic book title where the "heroes" of the series are actually villains. The premise is that the US government would has some problem that they don't want other people to know they are involved with, so they hire the Super-villains to take care of the problem in an attack that they can deny involvement with. In return, the villains get a commuted sentance and pardon for any crimes committed while operating in the Suicide Squad.

I was wondering if there was a group like this on CoX or if there would be any interest in playing one either as an open group or a static team.

The Suicide Squad was a good book, well, most of the time anyways. I'd be potentially interested in a static team, depending on play time. If you can do without the whole forced to work for the government thing - there are probably a few good SG/VG that play meta-mercs and are recruiting.

I think part of the problem so far with running a Suicide Squad concept has been how to pull it off. With Going Rogue coming out, I can really see an SG like this becoming easier to create.

Also with the original idea of the Suicide Squad having constantly rotating members, freedom from servitude for crimes, etc... it make the group something more of a dynamic if you try to stick more to the comic book concept.

All that being said, I like the idea of one.

The Supreme Society is a group of world domination minded super types, similar to the Secret Society of DC. While we don't follow a Suicide Squad theme, I'm sure we could work something out something entertaining with the concept, being a Lex Luthor to your Amanda Waller. Drop me a line @The New Black if your interested.

Tales of Judgment. Also here, instead of that other place.
