Stamina

Laevateinn's 4th example is what I use if I have a spare slot. I 4 slot Performance Shifter for the set bonuses. The fact that it is also the best amount of recovery is just a bonus.

You can change it preferences, until the semi-mythical forum change over.

I like the proc for a slot for same reason as above, its nice ot have a chance of end after doing a nuke or being sapped

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

A passive power like Stamina is the best place for any non-damage proc, full stop. It'll go off regularly enough that you can account for in your build calculations.

I tend to use only 2 slots on Stamina w/lvl 50 EndMod IOs with reinforcement from:

Set bonuses and/or 'procs' for +Recovery and/or +MaxEnd

Multi-Attribute IOs from sets (***/End)

Only running necessary powers during combat

Accolade powers for +Recovery and/or +MaxEnd

Popping a blue if needed

Apparently, I play "City of Shakespeare"
*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars

Wait, so instead of being a king of the Tudor dynasty, your name is supposed to refer to being king of the private instructors?
Interesting. i'm guessing you teach something other than English.

Hehe well actually it was an idea in a past game to teach noobs how to play the game i was playing but i gave up on it and he became my main in that and i stuck with it

You only need three slots. Two lvl 50 common IO's will put you at pretty much the ED cap, and one more should be a Performance Shifter chance for +end. Also, one of the lvl 50 end mod should be from the Performance Shifter set so you get a set bonus.

This is exactly how my blapper is slotted - the bonus was extra health I think which is sweet.

You started your post saying his argument kinda fails, but yet it looks to me like you agree with him. lol

it's not the essential = There isn't a single power in this game that is 'essential'

While his original post may not be specifically useful to the OP's request, he did follow it up with more specific information about why he feels that way, and a "YMMV" to show that there are other alternatives out there that might not be for everybody.

This was ultimately my point, I've been around long enough to see the Stamina threads come up regularly, and seldom do I see the point raised that actually it is possible to have a fun non-gimped character without it.

As mentioned, this really comes down to what you want to do with the toon, now as taking on AV's solo wasn't mentioned originally, I'd only modify my original statement to say that soloing AV's probably isn't one of those circumstances for most players....but then again....I've done it without Stamina on some toons too (Scrapper...easy).

Good luck to the OP with however they choose to spec out their toon!
