Which Edition should I buy?

I see the web store has a few versions of the game so it has me a bit confused on which is the most recent. Should I buy the Architect Edition or the Good and Evil edition?

I assume Architect since that says 14 content patches, so it sounds like the most recent. Good and Evil only says 8, so I assume it is older.

Any tips?

Either of them works. Good vs Evil edition comes with the Justice and Sinister costume outfit, Pocket D VIP Teleporter, and the Jump Pack. Architect Edition comes with your choice of either of the Super Booster packs for free (maybe also Super Booster III as an option when it comes out).

Both Architect and GvE allow you to play Issue 15, it's just that the BOXED version of Architect comes with DVDs containing all the patches up to and including issue 14, while GvE is only to 8... either way, though, you'd have to download at least Issue 15 to play if you install from the disk (although you can just install from the web).

My recommendation is to purchase AE locally (gets you a fairly up to date DVD). And then purchase the Mac Edition online. And finally, if you can find it cheap enough, purchase the GvE edition.

Remember, each edition that you upgrade your account with includes one month of game time, valued at $15. AE also includes your choice of one of the Booster Packs, valued at $10. That makes your total cost negative $5.00.

Mac Edition (which does not require a Mac) would have an overall cost of $5.00. GvE, depending on how much you pay for it, could be a net negative cost as well.

Well, if you are wanting to buy the most recent box so that you have the majority of updates before hitting the updater, you would want to go with the Architect edition.

If you are just purchasing a download code then get whatever you want. They all give the same access to the game. They just come with different bonus goodies.

ANY edition you buy will give you the full basic game which all of us play. The choices really come in where you want certain perks such as costume options or temp powers.

And I agree with the others: buy em all. I've got all of them except Architect edition so far, but that's because I want to buy it in a real box to have the disks. Not like I've ever had to reinstall from disk on my desktop but my lappy is woefully behind (no router = sad state of things).

Architect Edition is the best one to have physically at the moment, it'll save you a lot of time and downloading if you want to reinstall the game.
