I have played ALOT of Fallout3, and loved it.

I have enjoyed Rock Band 2.

I played the hell out of Left 4 Dead.

I really liked Mass Effect.

I'm a little burned out on all the above.

Suggestions?

Spend more time with your dogs.

Learn to cook Korean.

Wash your driveway with just a hose and scrub-brush.

Come to Chicago.

Sometimes, I impress my boss. Sometimes, I impress myself. The rest of the time, I scare people. I can live with that.

Those all sound like WORK!

Well, except the part about the dogs. That could be fun!

Look at that. A full-grown woman pulling off pigtails. Her crazy is off the charts.

Could do it two ways:

1. Local suburban stuff.

-or-

2. Downtown Chicago stuff.

We can work out the arrangements (I don't even let my parents into my house anymore as it has become my rat's warren and the paths I have are mine.)

Oh you have to do the down town drinking, and then .. take them to the new glass Ledges in the Sears (never, ever, will I call it the Willis) Tower. Standing 103 floors in the air, on glass so you can look down between your feet all the way to the street way down below .. all while being a bit tipsy.........

Assassin's Creed 2 in November.

May I also add Prototype is very entertaining if you like the "I wanna see yer innards!" aspect. (Which was fun )

Interestinly, it would cost me about $240 to take amtrack, and I would spend more than 24 hours, each way, to get to Chicago.

The round trip flight would be more than $300 (unless I plan it a couple months out, then the cost goes way down) but would be non-stop, and just a few hours.

Of course, it would ALSO require that I set foot in Chicago O'Hare... something I had hoped never to do again.

And, driving would cost me about $200 in gas, and be about 12 hours.

Hmmm... I've never been to Chicago... unless you count the unbelievebably miserable night I spent there when O'Hare stranded me there.

I bought this recently for the PC. It's fun and quite the nostalgia trip. However the PC version doesnt have multiplayer, so you might have more fun on the XBox version.

are you into shooters at all?

if so - the battlefield series are very good, they just released Battlefield 1943 available in spotligth for a 30 min trial - strictly online game though. BF Bad Company is hella-fun as well both singleplayer and multi online. Dice makes these - Yay swedes!

They also made Mirror's Edge, stunning vector game that'll make your heart race..

Fable II might be more in line with the games you've listed though, it's an rpg with a humorous twist...

I will be getting ghostbusters as well as soon as it comes out, that and Tekken

I'm about 15 hours into Lost Odyssey, and it's a pretty damn cool RPG. The combat feels fast and fairly intense for a turn-based system. The soft level cap for areas keeps you from overpowering your enemies, eliminates grinding, and keeps the story moving. Which is the highlight of the game. EPIC cutscenes and ensuing battles bring the story to life, as do the amazing graphics. Many "dreams" are unlocked as you go, and although they're just text, they are relayed to you in a most captivating way. Some will bring a tear to your eye (or so I'm told, I'm all man lady), as they fill in past family/friends/lovers of your immortal character. Overall great game so far, well worth trying out for a couple hours if you dig a good story.

Grab the trailer video off Live, it's HD eye candy at the very least.

1. INFAMOUS....not sure if it's avaliable for 360
2. SouthWest Airlines, if they have a hub out in soonerville.
3. Downtown drinking is overplayed, overpriced and way too many overaged adolescents who binge drink, act the fool and give Chicago a bad name " even though most of them are doof's driving up from Indiana or down from Wisconsin".

Not too far from Jan's house is an area called woodfield, it has some of the best places to go to eat and get your drink on in the area, at a fraction of what it would cost you Downtown.

Sears Tower would be nice then go shoppin at the Watrer Tower or stroll down One Mag Mile from some really nice WAAY over priced shops.

Then give me a call and I'll treat both you and Jan to some of the BEST Puerto Rican food you have ever or never had.

Bioshock is a cute game. I'm enjoying it.

The "taking photos of the monster trying to kill you" thing is amusing.
