Keybind for volume control?
So....no?
I don't think there is a keybind for volume in the actual interface and I don't see a command for it.
There are some keystroke emulators that do have innate support for windows functions such as volume control. The one I use is the Fang Gamepad

AFAIK, no. You can of course set a system-wide volume control key (most laptops have one).

Well, nah, that won't do it. I wanted to adjust game volume independent of skype, mainly for glowie hunting. Alas.
Thanks for the answers anyway, folks.
If you're on Vista, there should be some way to adjust the volume for just CoX using Vista's sound system... How you'd go about that via keybinds I'm not sure, but there should be some way.

That is the only feature of Vista that i wish I had on XP.
The application sound channels are beyond awesome IMO.

Yep, I love them. And it was the exact same reason I hated mplayer and their braindead design of having a volume control that just manipulated the system wide volume.

If the volume control is part of the vista OS system, chances are there isn't a way to keybind through the game for it. The interface for controlling the volume is most likely outside of the games control, at least I haven't see anything that allows you to adjust the games volume inside the game interface like that.
This would be a good thing to PM one of the devs about and/or to post in the suggestion forums. Sounds like a nice QoL feature they could add in without too much trouble I'd imagine.

Menu -> Options -> Graphics and Audio tab -> Audio section allows you to set both Sound FX Volume and Music Volume. He's wanting a command to control that, and AFAIK there isn't one.
The alternative I suggested would be to set the application-specific volume in Vista's mixer using a keybinding (not a keybinding inside CoX), but I'm not sure how to do that.

if there isn't a way in game to do so, there are a couple of programs out there that allow you to do things like that. Volumouse comes to mind first, it's a nifty program that allows you to set up the mouse wheel to control volume based on different parameters.
Nothing for anything volume or SFX in optionlist.

I'll be switching back to Vista at some point for the TV-recording feature, so thanks for that info. Had to reinstall XP because I was getting a display driver fatal exception and the hotfix page was bugged(!), but I think I have that figured out now.
Wondering if it's possible to do keybinds to turn the sound fx volume up/down. Anyone know?
