Base raids had a number of problems, including PvP balance and enforcing pathing in base design, among other things. I expect it to return, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

like how long is eventually becasue i really don't want to put the time and effort in the hopes of some thing that might take up 2 year to come out. i have been told by friends who play this that it all rdy has been 2 years since they took them away and they haven't said much about it and ban any one who prods about it i not to worried about the banning my self due to this being a major issue to myself and that i haven't put the time and effort into this game were i would be crushed from a ban in fact i am playing with the idea of going back to wow right now becasue some old friends started it up again but i have high hopes for this game and staff so i not about to just quite now unless some thing happens to pushes me
*If* Going Rogue is successful and the subscriber base goes into a steady growth (like EVE), then yes, it will come back.
*If* Going Rogue is only mildly successful with a modest uptick in subscribers and then back to a steady decline, then, no, it will never come back.
That's my prediction. They have no time to fix it before Going Rogue. If GR brings in big money, then they'll have resources to fix ancillary systems. If GR doesn't bring in big money, they'll conserve their resources for only the most popular systems that will retain as many customers as possible. And base raiding isn't one of those types of systems.

Kinda looks as if you don't want to be here and already decided to go back to that other game. If you choose to stay though there are other things on the horizon that could be a lot more fun than that other game.
If the hope for Base Raids is the only reason you are still playing then you might want to consider rethinking your decision to play this particular game.
There is so much more to this game than that one little thing that most people don't even seem to miss that much.

Whoa, slow down there. First off, it hasn't been two years since base raiding was disabled. It hasn't even been one year.
Second, no need to go looking for a ban over it. If you did something like constantly pm the devs about it you'd probably just get put on ignore. It's not quite that hostile an enviroment on the forums.
And to echo what was already said, try and enjoy what we do have. If base raiding is really all you want, this may not be the game for you. That's okay, nothing wrong with not liking a game. But at least see what else there is first.

I have very little hope that they will bring it back. They did away with the raid pathing for base building. It would be possible to build a base now that can't be raided because everything is behind walls. There is also the fact that the population of PvPers in the game is very small. They tried to make PvP better for more ATs, but that just angered the PvPers that were already there. From a business standpoint the money spent to develop new content would be better spent on the larger population that only play PvE.

To be honest, the devs don't seem to be bothering with bases any more. They said that Issue 13 was going to be a major base revamp, and it ended up just lowering some of the prices.
Overall, this game is not a PvP game. The devs tried to improve PvP and given the way the players accepted that, I doubt they're gonna bother with it again.
Last time I checked Hades was a nice toasty 8000 degrees.
When it drops to 32 degrees I'm sure they'll let you know.

Hi I am very new to this game I was a wow player before and one of the main reasons i switched over to COH was becasue of base raids it was some thing very unique to this game that separated it from the rest and sounded really fun. But i soon found out that it no longer exists. So my question is WILL BASE RAIDING COME BACK or should i move on and find some thing that fittings me better before i put all the work in to get my toons fully io out.
