Are you sure about needing the badge to start earning them? I'm fairly certain that the badge only lets you acquire them faster, but you will earn them at the same time you are logged out for the badge.
Yes, there is a cap on the amount per character. You can only have 10 at a time.

I don't have the badge yet on my MM and I acquire them. As stated I think they just accumulate faster with the badge.

That's possible. I've never heard anything about a cap on them before though. I'll have to run through a few of my toons and see if any have more than 10.
i was getting them before i got the badge. i know for a fact you dont need the badge to get them. But now that i have the badge[s] on multiple characters i have only ever gotten 9 Coupons total on this account. I have no longer recieved any more coupons on any character or any server since the 9 i got the first time.
Has anyone gotten more than 9?
You do not need the badge to begin accumulating the discount coupons, but I think you need at least 25% progress on the badge before they begin to show up. The cap seems to be 10 coupons per character and I recently got all ten on a few characters before actually receiving the badge.
If you aren't getting more than 9, check to make sure you are getting the day job indicator. If you are, I would suggest making a bug report.

The cap is 10 per character. You can earn them at any point, before or after you get badge progress.
Any day job that has charges or coupons requires you to log out for 24 consecutive hours to get one charge/ticket. If you log in 23h 59m 59s after you logged out, you get no charge/ticket and need to log out for 24 hours more to get the next one. It has always worked this way, and is WAD (Working As Designed), though it's unsure if this is WAI (Working As Intended).

Tailor Discount Coupons, whats with these? Ive been logging out at the Tailors for Dayjob. i got about 9-10 on one character, it seemed like i was getting one everytime i logged in after a period of time. Since then I havent seen any Tailor Discount Coupons on any characters even after logging out for weeks even on different servers. I have gotten the badge a few times now.
Do they Cap out per Account or something?
